These steps should’ve been taken when IMDB closed and the stans flooded in but hey better late than never. If this leads to the death of the toxicity that’s plagued this boards recently, I fail to see how it’s a bad thing. All it does is kill the toxic stans quicker and the ones who can change get better. The delusion on some of the Synder stans that the DCEU falling apart isn’t his fault and he’s the sole reason why Wonder Woman (which yes he did write and cast Gal Gadot, but simultaneously discount the works of Patty Jenkins and the other crew) succeeeded, ignoring the fact that BVS still has the worst legs for a CBM and something that should’ve done $1B on paper with ease, failed to jump to $900M, or saying Suicide Squad had good WOM and Snyder was responsible for it. Yet discounting efforts like Aquaman and Joker (while not DCEU was still a big movie) that were done without him or part of the reasons why JL which he was credited for, fell was because of BVS WOM. At best, you guys are a vocal minority. Though I do think a key problem from Shazam and BoP underperforming was WB’s new marketing. I get they have been burned by comic con trailers but doing two trailers spaced apart by months and then minimal ads until the week for your tentpoles doesn’t really work imho.

Weak buzz and the CGI hook is gone. Also it opens a week after Scoob.

I think Spongebob is going sub 100M DOM too, probably less than BoP.

DM3 feel off domestically, I feel Minions 2 will only continue the pattern. WW will be rock solid though. Something like 175M-225M DOM and 790M-850M WW. I feel Soul and WW84 will hurt it but Minions 2 has an empty summer.

@cayommagazine Dana Terrace (The Owl House) has been confirmed to write and direct, Miraculous: A New Generation for Endless Animation. Maddeline Madden is also attached as the lead, as Faith Rivera, the main protagonist of the film, as Zhang Ziyi and Monica Bellucci sign on the film, the latter is said to be the main antagonist Lila Rossi. More details will arrive tomorrow for the Y9 project.

@cayommagazine In a rare case of marketing, Endless Animation has made a deal with Cartoon Network to air 5 new shorts based on the characters from the upcoming Toons V Reality, every Friday night starting September 29th at 7:00 PM EST, leading up to the November 3rd, Y7 release date. Each one will feature a different character in the short and a different animation style, each one directed by new auteur animation artists at Endless Animation.

I mean I hope live action remakes to tank badly but I’m at least going to be fair predicting them. I think $800M WW is the minimum for F9.

Hobbs and Shaw was better than any CBM not named Shazam or Endgame in 2019.
