  1. @cayommagazine The Lonely Haunts Club: Dance of The Dead From the studio who bought you Blue and Gold and the minds behind Annabelle: Creation and Gravity Falls comes an all new franchise for Endless Entertainment. Alex Hirsch will direct the project as David F Samberg with help write and produce Described as a mix of Men and Black and Ghostbusters in high school, the story is about Tiana (Yara Shahidi), a popular and kind hearted high school junior finds out she suddenly has the ability to see and communicate with spirits as well as magical abilities, and is thrusted into a world where it turns of some of nerdy classmates are part of a paranormal task force known as ARF (Apparation Retrieval Force) (other names like PISS (Paranormal Investigation and Security Squadron) were considered but no one could take the name seriously). Led by Xavier Woods (Harrison Ford), a human-vampire-sorcerer hybrid and the oldest protector of humanity. As Tiana adjusts to her new life and clashing with her fellow agents, they must work together to stop Duke Bloodstone (Daniel Radcliffe), a 170 year old dark sorcerer from obtaining the Soul Key to obtain power over life and death as well as raise an army of the dead, meaning... our heroes may not make it to this year’s Harvest Dance or parties with underage drinking.... also the end of the world but who cares” The ensemble cast features: Our other ARF agents and: • Finn Wolfhard as Barry Brookshire, a know it all and rather annoying freshman who happens to be one of the smartest minds in the world and paranormal expert • Thomasin McKenzie as Wendy Dorr, a goth girl senior with a love for the macabre who happens to be the Rambo/Lara Croft of mythical monster hunting and expeditions • Ned Batalon as Freddy Zhang, a wannabe hypeman who desire to be on the top of the social food chain... who happens to be part werewolf, so his night plans are pretty full. • Genesis Rodriguez as Moon, the energetic scientist behind some of the gadgets and gizmos ARF agents use. Bad guys: • Daniel Radcliffe as Duke Bloodstone, angry evil sorcerer? Check. Rage against humanity for his imprisonment? Check. • Brian Tyree Henry as Shard, a hulking gargoyle made of stone and Duke’s lieutenant • Marsai Martin as Whitney, a ghost majordomo who is has been alive for centuries The rating will be PG-13 but they’ll definitely be pushing the rating with an $100M+ budget. Haunts Club will arrive in theaters, Easter Y6.
  2. Kind of surprised at the very low OS for SS. Also why the big Medusa decrease?
  3. I am really rooting for Jungle Cruise being big, I know the last thing Disney needs is another powerful franchise but hopefully it causes them to take more risks.
  4. Agreed on both but Shrek 5 is underestimated Never doubt nostalgia and Universal’s marketing (the fact that they were able to get Dragon 3 almost to a $60M OW speaks volumes). Enough 90s/00s kids love the first two and would be willing to ignore the awful 3rd and the underrated 4th, if the 5th delivers. Also Shrek was originally supposed to be live action/CGI and if it really didn’t work then, it wouldn’t work now. Shrek like (to name a few getting remakes) Aladdin and Lion King should stay in their original forms because live action can’t capture the same energy to the same effect. Sure dozens will go for nostalgia and enjoy it but it won’t be able to fully recapture the magic of the original.
  5. I think Shrek 5 is practically a lock. A Pokémon Red/Blue adaptation has a chance but it may be too repetitive for the GA and would have to be split into parts. Harry Potter 9 can also do it and something from DC, eventually.
  6. I’m still positive at best Argonaut is doing $300M DOM but the other news saddens me. Of course, I would need to make a major schedule change. One that would fuck over a lot of people. Not cause Of Tintin but I’m more worried about Mario.
  7. So PG DragonBorns or Argonaut in December.
  8. Endgame is probably my favorite film of the year, take into count that I have only seen 15-20 films this year so far but I loved it. Had a problem with but it’s definitely one of the best CBMs, one of the best recent blockbusters and it’s hard to choose between this and Black Panther. I hate sounded like I’m hyping this up but it’s true.
  9. You must really want me to screw over DragonBorns huh.
  10. Fat Ned is 23? But I’m willing to make an exception.
  11. April 15th - The Lonely Haunts Club - Fantasy/Comedy/Horror/Sci-fi (dir. Alex Hirsch)
  12. Anyone know a good Asian actor around 17-20? The character is very much a hype man.
  13. @cayommagazine Yara Shahidi (blackish, Two Lonely Bounty Hunters), Finn Wolfhard (IT, Stranger Things) and Thomasin McKenzie (The Epsilon Syndicate: Union Of Theives) to lead in Alex Hirsch’s tentpole for Endless Entertainment being described as “Men In Black meets Ghostbusters meets The Breakfast Club” in Y6.
  14. IW was also marketed as a finale film. This is the film ever that will not only Gross $300M OW but the first to gross $350M OW. And judging by what we are getting from CJ so far, the Saturday is looking at $110M-$120M and it’s not showing the same drops as HP8 did on OW.
  15. Got to say I’m curious how Scooby-Doo does.
  16. It did as a Netflix series... smh #justice4aera
