  3. The plan of the schools all along...
  4. Yeah, I’m unsure about that. I don’t have what it takes yet but I wanna see how Director’s Cut is recieved as it along with School Spirit are my first moldbreakers in terms of what I normally write.

  6. That’s me being optimistic, something like $200M DOM/$800M WW is my best case scenario (it all depends on China and Asia tbh). Currently thinking: $50M (five day)/$125M DOM/$615M WW I would love to see it break out though, it looks great and would be nice for a unknown property to break out.
  7. Worldwide: 1.) Endgame $2B 2.) The Lion King $1.8B 3.) IX $1.4B 4.) Frozen 2 $1.35B 5.) Detective Pikachu $1.05B 6.) Hobbs and Shaw $1B 7.) Spider Man Far From Home $925M 8.) Toy Story 4 $875M 9.) Pets 2 $850M 10.) Captain Marvel $825M
  8. You know I’m starting to come around on Alita, not top 10 but with Glass relatively underperforming, and a free market until Captain Marvel, I can see a small chance of tracking is good, $200M DOM can happen.
  9. So... while planning out Director’s Cut and Phoenix Rebirth, I watched The Book of Mormon and would love to do an adaptation of it someday but imagine that’d be difficult. If Director’s Cut goes well, I’ll do Book of Mormon.
  10. @cayommagazine Paul King (Paddington 1 and 2) to write and direct an adaptation of the next live action reimagining from Endless Entertainment: Meet The Robinsons. The project plans to expand more on certain arcs and as well to achieve more of a linear focus but won’t shy away from the wackiness. Endless Entertainment is currently debated whether or not to push it or Wayside, which Paul King would also direct for Y6, but will likely be Y7.
  11. I hope that people won’t be aggravated by my animated movies this year in terms of word count: Squirrel Girl is over 10K words and Medusa is around the 8K mark. That said only Squirrel Girl, Green Lantern and Phoenix will be over 10K words, every thing else will be in the 3K-8K range.
  12. We’ll probably get another trailer in time for Lego Movie 2.
  13. I just had a better idea for Phoenix: Rebirth.
  14. I’m going to try to participate this year if I can. Always wanted to post a ballot for the BOFFYs. FYC for Best Picture:
  15. I wonder what happened to the animated movie in the point of view of the ghosts.
  16. @cayommagazine “South Park” minds Trey Parker and Matt Stone to release their first film in over a decade with Infinite Studios Infinite Studios has just bought a pitch from the visionaries of South Park and The Book of Mormon; Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The film is titled Director’s Cut, an action comedy satire that parodies Kill Bill as well as tackling the place of women and minorities in film and the industry as a whole. The plot is as follows: “Annie Campbell (Oscar winner Alison Brie) is an inspiring writer and director in Hollywood, finally has found a home for her passion project and working for Wonder Factory, the biggest film studio about to break ground as the first female director to make a live action $100M+ blockbuster, heavily promoted by the head of the studio (Jason Statham). However she soon finds her baby being meddled with by four executives (John Cena as the testosterone fueled Executive in charge of the tentpoles who’s secretly gay, Charlie Day as the executive behind the studio’s animated and family films who behind closed doors is a depraved drug addict, Aubrey Plaza as the executive behind the studios indies and Oscar bait who is all about money and doesn’t care who she hurts or what she does and Tracy Morgan as the passive aggressive executive behind the mid range films they make hired to make a diversity quota) who believe the message she’s trying to deliver is too much for a general audience. When she refuses, the studio head demands his executives to kill her but fail, leaving her critically injured. Taken in by a former hitman (Samuel L. Jackson), Annie is trained and goes on a roaring rampage of revenge to kill the executives and the head and getting her film baby before the film enters post production.” The project is tentatively aiming for Thanksgiving Y5, but we’ll know more by Monday if everything works out.
