As for me, as far as franchises hopefully TP:GOM works out (again @cookie and @Hunt for the Wilderpasta thank y’all for looking at it) and Dragon Ball, which I’ll probably debut at the festival. TSW > Spark > Lotor > Homeward > DOTU

I’d argue Tokyo would be better mainly due to the setting in the anime besides if you keep it it’d help internationally. Besides CAYOM doesn’t always follow the rules of regular box office as long as the movie is well done, the sky is the limit. Hell even not so well received movie do good. This year we had a movie open at $12M and legged it to $155M+. But at the end of the day, it’s you’re choice, and as long as the film is good, you should be fine.

Push back The Second Crash Bandicoot to September 25th Y4, and add Dolby Cinema please. -
That could work. And would help separate itself from the rest of the crowd. To The Moon from Y2 was the biggest animated film of Y2 domestically, and was PG-13.

Not box office comparisons but like film: Spark series: Guardians (great original, solid sequel that was bigger but some like the first better but also has it’s fans) Odyssey series: Apes (a dark intense excellent movie with an even bigger and better sequel) Voltron series: Star Trek TSW series: Star Wars
