  1. This may seem crazy but I think there is a small chance it opens about the same as Ted ($54.1M)
  2. Both Ted and This Is The End had about the same audience score as Sausage Party, it should be fine.
  3. Thanks, that is fantastic to hear. This Is The End was my favorite Rogen-Goldberg film, I am even more pumped for Sausage Party.
  4. It's amazing that Disney may be the only studio with a $1 billion movie. Not to mention it'll have 4 $1B movies (CW, Zoo, FD, RO).
  5. I except a lot of outraged parents who make a stupid decision and take their kids to see this.
  6. Deadline said mid teens to $20M. I think LAT said it too, not too sure on the last one though.
  7. This is tracking at $20M OW. I could see mid 20's this weekend if it's lucky.
  8. Marketing killed both of them, but the controversy made it worse for the Ghostbusters. Also, I think if STB opened in either mid May, it may have grossed some more and if Ghostbusters had a smaller budget, along with a October release date could have been BIG.
  9. Pete's Dragon $34.3M Sausage Party $28.7M Florence Foster Jenkins $7.2M
  10. They showed an early cut of it in Film festivals one at SBSWFF in March and one in Just for Laughs in late July. Most of Rogen's comedies tend to get decent reviews.
  11. I think Pete's Dragon and Sausage Party could break out since SS, should drop anywhere from 60-70% and both have glowing reviews. 8/12-14 1. Suicide Squad $45.5M 2. Pete's Dragon $34.3M 3. Sausage Party $28.7M 4. Jason Bourne $12.4M 5. Bad Moms $9.1M 6/7. FFJ/Star Trek Beyond: $7.2M 8. SLOP $5.5M 9. Lights Out $3.3M 10. Nine Lives $2.5M
