I’ve heard this so many times from HP fanatics.

In retrospect it was a global-tailored package: disaster film, which traditionally played well OS? Check. The “it” tiger beat matinee idol of that moment? Check. A rare blockbuster of that era oriented around social-economical class division? Check. The best non-Spielberg blockbuster director of that era (arguably all time) doing his thing with storytelling and FX? Check. Boobs? Check. And so forth. the teen girls played their part, but yes it wasn’t just them to say the least.

Hey now, you can’t criticize the auteur maestro behind TROS. Clearly WB believes he knows what he’s doing (yeah I’m being sarcastic.) Here’s a good question: which project is more likely to actually get produced?

They’re still “debating” because they’re either sad franchise war soldiers desperate for a “win” or because (cue whatever reason they have to have vested interest in SJ2 hitting rim) and thus they’re living and dying on confirmation bias.

We get it, you didn’t like him in that movie. SJ2 dropping as it did really surprised me. Of course that and BW have streaming/plague on their bingo blame card. Curious to see the next few weekends. TSS, you in danger girl…

It’s Meh. Only thing really going for it was the ninja mountain fight. I guess I’ll see SE on P+, but after 3 movies (assuming I’m indifferent at best to SE like I’m with the earlier entries) and none of them came even close to being as good as the honorary unofficial best GI Joe movie ever made in The Winter Soldier….why bother? This really is P’s Mortal Kombat: they’ll keep trying until they get it right.
