I am confused on who the intended audience is for this. It looks a little dark for families but also too light for horror fans. I don't see this doing well.
Midday update for today's previews and also added John Wick 4. JW4 is starting strong. (Madison WI Theaters). Glad to see Creed III is picking up in sales. I will pull this just before 3pm when the first showing for Creed III starts.

Yeah it is rough. Also Scream got screwed over with showtimes. No showtimes in the 7pm or 8pm timeframe. 🙃 I think more showtimes will get added though.

Well that was quick! M. Night Shyamalan will not be directing At the Edge of the Universe. The studio announced today that Peter Hoar will be in the director's chair. One cannot help but think that the critical & audience acclaim for The Last of Us Season 1 Episode 3 which Peter directed is the reason why he got this gig. George Sear (Love Victor) has been cast as the lead character, Ozzie as well. The studio is working closely with Shaun David Hutchinson on working on this project. It is refreshing to see a studio working with the source material's creator
I honestly can see it falling in that range probably $210-$215M. I see it around $173-$176M by the end of its second weekend. (probably being generous).

O$corp Pictures has announced pre-production has begun on the film adaption of Shaun David Hutchison's At the Edge of the Universe. Casting is expected to be finalized soon and it is speculated that M. Night Shyamalan will be taking the director's chair for the film. The film's summary reads: "At the Edge of the Universe is about a boy who believes the universe is slowly shrinking as the things he remembers are being erased from others’ memories.
