  1. https://www.flickeringmyth.com/2017/03/movie-review-kong-skull-island-2017/ If every 2017 tentpole movie can be as good as Kong: Skull Island, we’re in for a great year of movies
  2. When people say the CW/Video Game/Animated/Lego version is better than the DCEU all I can think about is how much money WB is making from their DC brand. They reach a lot of people.
  3. The Rings promo will smash the Chewbacca Mom record for most Facebook views. That has about 165 million views. Rings with 82 million views in about 5-6 hours.
  4. Bravo Paramount. Yeah, I know, that's not a lot of likes and retweets, but listen to this: 1 million shares and 40 million views on Facebook in 3 hours.
  5. Another great spot. Also, Jordan Vogt-Roberts looks really confident in this movie, so that's a plus. Amazing what he achieved with the visuals. First time director. I've never seen something like this.

X4 Every dollar invested Warner Bros.: 1.29 billion dollars. X4 Every dollar invested Fox: 1.2 billion dollars. X3.75 Every dollar invested Paramount: 916 million dollars. X1.8 Every dollar invested Sony: 860 million dollars. X2.4 Every dollar invested Universal: 835 million dollars. X3.9 Every dollar invested
  7. I'm so happy for Lionsgate. They deserve a win. La La Land, John Wick next month and then... Power Ranegrs!
  8. People will steal anything if the stakes are low.
  9. How is Collateral Beauty still in 3,000 theaters?
  10. https://variety.com/2015/digital/news/top-10-pirated-movies-of-2015-see-alarming-increase-in-downloads-1201667982/ http://variety.com/2014/digital/news/top-20-most-pirated-movies-of-2014-led-by-wolf-of-wall-street-frozen-gravity-1201388403/
  11. But they don't care about the people who pirate. They care about the untapped potential in people who skip theater or go to the theater once or twice a year and then will catch the movie on streaming or TV for a lower price. It's all about the costumer. Nobody in the studios care about the film making aspect.
  12. Well, to be fair, WB movies are the most pireted movies online, so I can understand why they'll do something like that.
