    This is exactly why I don't give a shit about critic reviews. I care about what my peers in the audience think, not people who get paid to attract clicks and drum up controversy.

    Awesome! Me too. Looking forward to the opening game on Wednesday against the Oilers. I've been frustrated with the team (to put it mildly) for the past several years almost to the point of not even caring, but Pettersson, Boeser and Co. have reignited my passion. We've got something brewing here!

    Boring $20M debut for this. Not a spectacular bomb and not a breakout. Because of the low opening, a 3x multi shouldn't be difficult. Unless reception audience reception is negative it should clear $70M.

    Awesome news, though it should be expected that two rich, grown adult men would stop squabbling and get back to work. Really looking forward to seeing how this franchise ends and glad Dwayne Johnson will be involved. It would be neat if he appeared in a cameo at the end of 9, or even in a post credits scene, and then was fully back for the big finale in 10.

    I think the filmmakers try to make Arthur Fleck sympathetic, not Joker, which is okay. People with severe mental illness should be met with more sympathy. Yes, even the white male ones!!

    It's because people are being intellectually lazy and attaching a lazy label to the Joker character. They're saying he'll get rejected by Zazie Beetz's character then go and become the Joker and kill tons of people because of it. Uh no. It's far, far more complex than that, and I imagine that's the film's point.

I'm sick and tired of reading people, in the media and otherwise, make everything about skin color and gender, especially when it comes to white men. Fuck off and dont you dare claim the moral high ground, that you're somehow promoting unity. You're not. You're just against white men, which is literally no better or different. Simple as that. /rant.

    Yeah, have to say that I'm disappointed in It Chapter Two all around. I guess a huge chunk of the first one's audience just wasn't buying it. Still a huge success in a vacuum, but I don't think it reached its potential at the box office. Not even close.

    Huge weekend incoming December 13-15 before Star Wars hits. It mimics last year's 2nd weekend of December when we also had a Clint Eastwood film (The Mule) and a Sony franchise film (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse). Is Brahms: The Boy II even still coming out?? Heard or seen nothing about it. If not, Black Christmas should move up a week to December 6. PLAYMOBIL: The Movie is absolutely DOA. It's going to be epic.

    One can still be successful and roasted by a particular demographic. That's all I was saying. He would still be successful but would also constantly bear the burden of the woke crowd as well.

    Haha! Oh my God, he would have been absolutely roasted. I'm glad Carlin's greatness existed during another time and not now when it would have been smothered and shamed.
