  1. Some people are unbelievably dumb and THR should be ashamed for trying make a story out of this nonsense.
  2. Both terrible writing and directing, supporting cast outside of old timers wasn't great either.
  3. I remember the same nonsense when she wasn't nominated for Best Director for Little Women, it was annoying even back then.
  4. Your perception is totally wrong, it's not supposed to be some original or daring filmmaking, I have no idea where you took this, it's an old-fashioned crowdpleaser with very charming stars, solid action, solid romance, some solid jokes and some creative moments, it's exactly like its trailers and there's nothing wrong with that, in fact we don't have many movies like this today, just genuine and well made good time in a movie theater. And in what way The Bikeriders or Fly Me To The Moon are original? You might as well say Deadpool & Wolverine is original, that's just laughable, I mean c'mon.
  5. Am I crazy or the movie is overmarketed? It had like 4 or 5 major trailers which also outright spell one of the twists. Not a good sign.
  6. The Rock has probably the biggest ego in the industry, even bigger than Sly's or JLaw's.
  7. I mean 20 mln would be really solid for this, but 15 mln is ok at best considering it was pushed as a commercial sexy melodrama with a super popular lead actress and tik tok generation appeal, it would actually be below The Beekeeper which is essentially The Mechanic with bees.
  8. I think it'll have a huge opening weekend, but average legs no matter reception, just because MCU flicks rarely have good legs, they rely on a big opening weekend.
  9. Isn't it kinda weak after all the hype and Zendaya doing a fashion show on nearly dozen of premieres?
  10. MoM and Thor 4 had massive reshoots though. They became the norm for Marvel lately. In Cap 4 case it's very obvious the movie is in big trouble.
  11. A bunch of liars, don't fall for this, Napoleon was also praised as a masterpiece with Brando-level perfomance on its test-screenings, but it turned out to be a complete mediocrity. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice..." you know this saying.
  12. Those movies have such a long production period, sir Ridley would've filmed at least 3 movies while Tom shoots a single MI flick.
  13. I don't know, maybe it just wasn't appealing to audiences, from what I saw they put some effort into marketing it. And I wonder if Ritchson's recent controversial posts on social media affected numbers a bit.
