Probably the most impressive run of all time even if Endgame or the Avatar sequels reach $3 Billion.
Avatar 2 should have a big curiosity factor that will attract people who might not have even liked the first one. Depends also on how big the connection the sequels will have to the first one.
No one was really questioning the Pika Pika release date until a couple of weeks ago when the possibility of Endgame making $300M OW started to become a reality. Sometimes you're just unfortunate with the competition being bigger than expected and there's nothing you can do about it.
Hot take but it won't gross much more than Godzilla: KOTM. Though I'm expecting (hoping?) for a massive increase for the sequel over the first Godzilla.
Looking to 2020 seems other than Avatar 2 there's no mega blockbusters coming out that year. Good opportunity for a more even spread of the box office. Or we're in for a record decline next year idk
Well I can only see this as good news tbh (unless you're hoping that Ezra Miller is still on the Flash film I suppose). And is David Yates still on? Wish we could get a new perspective on this franchise from a different director.
I'm pretty ambivalent on another Batman movie that's supposedly another younger version but one good trailer will change that and I bet the same for the GA.
Russo Brothers become the first directors to have 3 $1 Billion Grossing Films. And to think it wouldn't be the case had Kevin Feige not been a Community fan.
