Doubtful. They advertised day and date for subscribers the whole year. Some people subbed for that. If they pull that, they’d probably get nailed with a class action lawsuit.

Day and Date might not last but severely shortened windows will be here to stay. Studios will want to cash in on that word of mouth aspect rather than have it fizzle out before the PVOD window. 30 days is what I imagine it’ll land at of Disney pushes for it.
I mean searchlight has been overall a big addition through the pandemic for them on the streaming side. And I really don’t think they’re sweating over a 12 million dollar film not making its money back.
