  1. Canada is lowest on Friday. Saturday bumps are normal, Sunday hold much better and weekdays hold better.
  2. Found it. Update Chart: Film Previews Friday % Share Iron Man $3.50 $35.23 9.93% Incredible Hulk $1.60 $21.47 7.45% Iron Man 2 $7.50 $51.24 14.64% Captain America $4.00 $25.70 15.56% Thor $3.25 $25.48 12.75% The Avengers $18.70 $80.81 23.14% Iron Man 3 $15.60 $68.86 22.66% Thor 2 $7.10 $31.90 22.26% Captain America: Winter Soldier $10.30 $36.93 27.89% GOTG $11.20 $37.85 29.59% Avengers: Age of Ultron $27.60 $84.42 32.69% Ant-Man $6.40 $22.65 28.26% Captain America: Civil War $25.00 $75.50 33.11% Doctor Strange $9.40 $32.59 28.85% GOTG 2 $17.00 $56.08 30.31% Spider-Man: Homecoming $15.40 $50.78 30.33% Thor: Ragnarok $14.50 $46.47 31.20% Black Panther $25.20 $75.94 33.18% Avengers: Infinity War $39.00 $106.33 36.68% Ant-Man and The Wasp $11.50 $33.73 34.10% Captain Marvel $20.70 $61.70 33.55% Avengers: Endgame $60.00 $157.46 38.10% Spider-man: Far From Home $39.25 0.00% Black Widow $20.00 $57.14 35.00% I used 20mn for BW just because it was mentioned. I think Widow will do 25 range.
  3. Normal. Also after every Avengers film, standalone films get previews heavier by a degree. I posted data on that at time of Captain Marvel. Basically with time.
  4. Baahubali 2's 12mn is on higher ticket than usual for Telugu version reaching $40 in 1st weekend. Footfalls will be par or lower than Dangal which grossed $12.6mn in 2016. Yeah an Oscar buzz film will do well in USA but not in India or even with diaspora audience. Then it will be doing for overseas audience only. Prime example is "The Lunchbox" by Irrfan Khan. It did really well in overseas, grossing $20mn IIRC outside India but India & diaspora audience hardly paid attention. It did $4.25mn in USA, par that in France and India.
  5. In case of India just being India's official entry bring those numbers, I wonder what if some film actually won it.
  6. An Indian film, which was just announced to be India's official entry to Oscar made atleast 4 times more than it would have done without that announcement 🤭 https://boxofficeindia.com/report-details.php?articleid=3276
  7. Parasite Week 1: ₹82.17 lakhs 2nd Friday: ₹9 lakh 2nd Saturday: ₹18 lakh 2nd Sunday: ₹18 lakh 2nd Monday: ₹14 lakh (Oscar win boosting by 3 times) 2nd Tuesday: ₹25 lakh (till 6 PM) Total: ₹1.66cr Approx ($232k)
  8. Birds of Prey 2.10 Bad Boys for Life 0.78 1917 0.78 Parasite 0.55 Dolittle 0.35 The Gentlemen 0.32 Jumanji: The Next Level 0.32 Gretel And Hansel 0.25 Little Women 0.24 Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker 0.19
  9. Before pre-sales start I am sceptical on opening. Of course will flip that when Pre-sales are huge. 😛
  10. Yeah that's impressive thing as Indian films which had higher PTA in similar release size were basically NRIs watching them with no local audience bothering about them.
  11. @keysersoze123 look at Parasite MTC 1 - 2 next weekend. Its expanding on 2k screens and apparently will be #4 on Monday.
  12. Parasite looks like $0.45-0.5mn. (#4) Jumanji 2 may be $0.35mn. BoP $2-2.1mn types. BBFL $0.75-0.8mn types 1917 $0.95mn types. Rest is ehh.
  13. My Name Is Khan did £809,337 FSS on 90 locs. The beast is Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna £749,243 on 60 locs.
  14. Parasite is currently #3 at USA box office. That won't hold though, but I guess $325k is likely.
  15. 1st Weekend occupancy at national plexes was 37% for Parasite on 76 Screens. It had 46 screens in 2nd Week and 54% occupancy. Less than 10% drop in 2nd Weekend most likely.
