Haven't read it (though I might), but from looking at the blurb, Billy Summers sounds like it could make a good one (someone send a copy to Fincher or Villeneuve ASAP).
I didn't hate The Counselor, but I found it too bleak to really give a shit about it. I'm pretty sure it got fucked by the studio, so maybe if a proper Director's Cut comes out, I'll like it more.
Booked my ticket a few days ago for Saturday evening (I'm within walking distance of 4 cinemas, but annoyingly only 2 of them are offering showings before 8pm - my screening's for 5.30).

I mean, I love superhero films and blockbuster-y films as much as the next person, but that doesn't mean they're the only thing I want to see in theatres. There should be room for films like this, otherwise things'll turn out boring.
So am I.
The domestic total depends on how good the legs are. If it holds like Spectre did we could see it finish up with around $155-$160 million total; Skyfall or Die Another Day-type legs would give a total close to, or slightly above, $190 million.
