I'm gonna go with 75 Metacritic, and 87% RT with average rating of 7.60/10.
The work on Farrell effectively guarantees it's getting nominated for Best Makeup, and I feel pretty confident it'll nab a Best Sound nomination too.
Seeing it then as well, butbecause I'm going with family, and Saturday's the only time for the three of us to see it due to jobs and school.
On the plus side, it means I can go watch The Godfather Part II that Friday (I'm seeing the first one this weekend).
Only 3 other directors have earned as many nominations: William Wyler (12 total nominations, 3 wins), Billy Wilder (8 total nominations, 2 wins) and Martin Scorsese (9 total nominations, 1 win).
So far I've seen 3:
West Side Story (January 9)
The King's Man (January 13)
Nightmare Alley (February 3)
I would've probably seen Licorice Pizza and Belfast by now too, but I sprained my ankle and so had to spend 2 weeks largely housebound.
5 BAFTA nominations:
Best Cinematography (Linus Sandgren)
Best Editing (Tom Cross and Elliot Graham)
Best Sound (James Harrison, Simon Hayes, Paul Massey, Oliver Tarney and Mark Taylor)
Best Special Visual Effects (Mark Bokowski, Chris Corbould, Joel Green and Charlie Noble)
Outstanding British Film (Cary Joji Fukunaga, Barbara Broccoli, Michael G. Wilson, Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Phoebe Waller-Bridge)
