  1. Trailer felt flat. No Goosebumps moment... Generally, Pan India movies dealing with history have atleast one...
  2. I am glad it didn't happen, if sex was anything close to titanic... my parents wouldn't have taken to me 1st Spidey and I won't be here having nostalgia about it.
  3. Do you know if Oricon - also includes counts for the one Piece volumes that are sold in France?
  4. That's a lot considering past few days most End of year events are getting cancelled in South-Korea and New regulations have been placed. Only max of 6/8 people allowed to gather at most in Capitol/Other regions respectively. <--- Already in effect for next 4 weeks. (was 10 people/12 people before 1st December, 2021,. I think.) The Regulations that were eased on 1st November, have been tightened again from this week. Vaccine Pass wasn't required for Cinema, now is needed and grace period of week is given, so people will probably need it to watch S:NWM.
  5. 55k @ 14:05 When did presales started exactly?
  6. Past 7 days (last Week): Spiderman: Far From Home has been on top 10 charts in [Depending on Availability]: 60+ Countries on Youtube/Google. 14 Counties on itunes. 7 Countries on HBO Max. 3 Countries on Netflix. [India, Pakistan and Bangladesh - It's top 5] USA is only country for Amazon's chart. On side-note: FFH has charted (top 10) on all 3 platforms in India - Itunes, Google and Netflix past week.
  7. Can we please get it other way around? Instead of cutting out convenience fees from Chinese, why not add the convenience fee to American box office total? Like, I wanna know how much exactly Americans pay to watch the movie, if all movies were bought via ticketing Apps only.
  8. No, No. I am not talking about bans due to content. I am talking about banning something due to it being more popular than local things. I don't mind banning things for content itself, that may be against their culture or nation. I even highlighted the potion about I was talking when you said, "Not China, but entire Asia is going to reclaim their all-time throne with local blockbusters, whether International media called a propaganda or fan-crazy. It's about the future of their cinema." I am simply against banning of Hollywood/Foreign movies when your Industry is already dominated by local movies and they put ban by giving reason that Foreign movies are eating their income.
  9. That's one of worst reasoning I have seen been thrown around. This reasoning is used by people to hide their own box office failures - "My movie was gobsmackingly good but a random movie from Hollywood made my movie make less! We should ban foreign films." I live in India and until and unless movie has Endgame level hype, No Foreign movie can really dethrone a local blockbuster movie, even if they are released same day. If I have to watch a movie from my own countries five WOODS - bolly, tolly, sandal, polly and cholly, I will watch it - irrespective of when they are released. Foreign movie - no matter how good rarely has been able to dethrone's local blockbuster movies which may or may not have been utter garbage. Lets not talk about Europe but All major Asian countries already have their own local Industry dominating their own box-office. China already has too much protection for their local movies already. Leave movies aside for a second, you know how Japan's manga publishers and Korea's manhwa publishers are trying their best to promote manga/manhwa all around world, but what if English speaking countries started banning 'em because the sales of DC/MCU and local comics have grown too low? Most Indian Kids nowadays don't even know names of most famous comic books that were made in India - but all of them know about Goku, Naruto and Luffy. I have seen people begging for some Anime Movies and live-action movies from Japan to be released in here but we don't get 'em because of scope of our market. When the whole world is trying to get global, then steps and reasoning like these makes me vomit. Please, Let the viewer/reader atleast choose what they wanna read/watch - that's the least of freedom you can grant to your citizen.
  10. You know what... you are acting similar to naysayers of 2019 - during EG run who denied the fact that EG's hype was any closer to take EG above Avatar. No one really thinks NWH can do 850m or 900m (Some can dream, though.) Most people are only hoping for it to reach 600m+. I am Marvel fan and I won't like EG's run to be overtaken by any film, it was a beast in its own right. But If NWH can gross even 450m this year - it will become a beast in own right as no other film would have been able to gross even half of it's amount this year. I don't get why you keep denying it's hype?
  11. Uh? In 2019 - Marvel made 1.45B with Endgame and Captain Marvel. Total Collection of 2019 stood at 11.13B (of top 200 Movies) --------> Marvel has 13% share. In 2021 - Marvel made 560m with Eternals, SC and BW. Total Domestic Collection stands at 3.6B (of top 200 Movies) ------> Marvel already has 16% Share (some movies still grossing) Hollywood had a difficult year, there was nothing wrong with Marvel itself. If not for Public law Suit, Films banned in Country made for and first few reviews, Marvel might have gobbled up 2021 by themselves. Both 2019 and 2021 has Spiderman - which is co-produced by Sony and Marvel. If you will add Spiderman BO to marvel to both years, % share will only increase in favor of Marvel (2021).
  12. That's how you get scoop... <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Did <a href="https://twitter.com/tylerperry?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@TylerPerry</a> see Tobey Maguire on the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/SpiderManNoWayHome?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#SpiderManNoWayHome</a> set?! 👀 <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/FallonTonight?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#FallonTonight</a> <a href="https://t.co/VDwW5guFPN">pic.twitter.com/VDwW5guFPN</a></p>&mdash; The Tonight Show (@FallonTonight) <a href="https://twitter.com/FallonTonight/status/1466997771945365504?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">December 4, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
  13. I hope you can get another sig where Charlie is sayin "We underestimated [NWH]. We never learn."
  14. Avenger: EG came out 26 April 2019 and John Wick 3 on 9th May and it survived and delivered enough. maybe, History will kind of repeat itself.
  15. The one to bomb Japan wasn't CHINA it was AMERICA. If any American citizen wants to feel sorry for people who died in bombing of Hiroshima or Nagasaki, it their right to feel that. You are saying - as if the movie went out of its way to portrays or blames China for bombing nor the movie commends Japanese for their War-Crimes. You are simply mourning the dead, nothing more. China made a mountain out of mole-hill and banned it. The Battle at lake Changjin - You show America losing a war and yet, they lets you screen it in USA. They didn't outright ban it. It was Citizen's choice to watch it or not, criticize or not. At the end of day, it was just a movie.
  16. Official, Sony Pictures Canada has 'em all in Full HD. But I recommend this channel, it has all of 'em in 2K/4K Resolution. You can find all 8 TV Spots in 4K.
  17. I want Sony to sell the rights to Marvel completely and I hate how Marvel made Iron-man's presence a tad bit too much. His presence would not have been that bad but him providing a suit, which had Advanced AI and could even track Spidey, those were things - I was not cool with. I care even less that Zendaya's MJ isn't Mary Jane because as much as I love Tobey's Spiderman in 2nd movie, I hate Kirsten's MJ that much. She was absolute caricature of all teen movie heroines that I used to watch when I was teen.
  18. How trustworthy his Info is? Didn't @charlie Jatinder quote him few days ago and this guy said - 14th Jan is decided.
  19. He definitely isn't in NWH, he just keeps mentioning Spiderman of his own accord and nostalgia and also because Sony paid him for these passive advertisement.
  20. Won't KGF 2 hurt its grosses in South India? We have already seen Aamir in autistic character, I just hope he doesn't feel similar to the guy in Dhoom 3 or PK in portraying Forest Grump.
  21. So, On Weibo - #蜘蛛侠英雄无归新预告 and #蜘蛛侠女友又掉下去了 have been viewed more than 300M times combined. Whatever those two hashtag means, they are related to newest trailer - i have been told. Is that normal view count on Weibo or Its super hype? How does it bode for Its Box Office in China, if it gets released within 1st or 2nd week of release date?
  22. These types of out of context tweets are silly. This is also in same continued paragraph, Holland says, “I’d be very content with just being a stay-at-home dad, and producing a film here and there,” he says. That’s not to say that will happen right now. “I might start shooting The Crowded Room and go, ‘You know what, this is what I’m going to do for the rest of my life.’ Or I might do Spider-Man 4, 5, and 6, finish when I’m 32, and never make another. I’m not sure what I want to do.” That’s the point. He’s in control. BTW, His GQ.com Interview has some very good qoutes... "But the funny thing about fame is that just as you start to find your dreams coming true, so, too, can nightmares." Him on being asked about relationship, “It’s not a conversation that I can have without her,” he says. “You know, I respect her too much to say… This isn’t my story. It’s our story. And we’ll talk about what it is when we’re ready to talk about it together.” “I actually learned this from Elizabeth Olsen,” he says. “She gave me an amazing piece of advice: ‘No’ is a full sentence. ‘No’ is enough.”
