    If Joker overtakes Captain Marvel (probably will) it will be the biggest solo movie, not 2 (and the 3 biggest superhero movie in general only behind the last 2 Avengers).

    That early $588.8m update was from Mojo, which is why the numbers didn't look good (we compared it with last week Screendaily update), now with Screendaily's update we can make a better comparison, last week's Screen daily update (released on Friday too) suggested that Joker made $30.6m on weekdays, so that (supposed) $22m on weekdays this week was pretty good.

    Screen daily update Joker is at $596.1m. Joker will cross $900m at the global box office this weekend. The supervillain origins story starring Oscar contender Joaquin Phoenix has amassed $596.1m through Warner Bros Pictures International and stands at $878.3m It: Chapter Two has grossed $242.1m and opens in Japan, where the 2017 original arrived on $1.6m on the way to $19.3m.

    WW84 doesn't need to be strong like Joker OS-China to have a good chance of crossing $1 bi, Joker will do something around $675m-$700m OS-China, that's $130m-$170m + bigger than other recent big (and 1 $bi WW) solo movies like Aquaman, Black, Panther, Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far from Home, $450m OS-China is enough for WW84 to reach 1 bi, WW is Stronger than Joker Domestically and has China.

    Spider man is old franchise, not much field to grow, Wonder Woman is a new franchise. Guardians of the Galaxy is a Space Opera, films of this type are not very popular with audiences abroad.

    OS-China increase will (very likely) be bigger, and the increase in China smaller. WW84 = OS-China $450m/China $130m = $580m OS imo.

    Imo DC is stronger than Marvel in Brazil, Marvel has the biggest franchise (Avengers) but DC is stronger with diversified films, 3 of the last 4 DC solo films are in the top 5 biggest solo movies in Brazil, Suicide Squad is far bigger than Guardians of the Galaxy (SS is bigger than both Guardians movies combined) and even X-men, Marvel just has a lot more movies.

    Joker has at $780.5 million WW now (Incl Dom Thursday number), the domestic weekend could be around $17 million. Dom alone already took him to $797.5m WW, would have to make only $18m- $23m OS this weekend (coming from a weekend of $78m last week), quite unlikely.

    Corpse Still forgetting Constantine on this chart, I don't know how much Constantine made in ¥ in Japan, but it was around $24.5m (according Mojo) if we compare to Batman begins which is also from 2005 and made $14m or ¥ 1.40 billion, Constantine must have done something around ¥2.4- ¥2.5 billion.

    I think screendaily weekend numbers is from Friday to Sunday, while in Japan (Titanic2187 graphic) they consider weekend only Saturday and Sunday.

    Kind of Surprised that Maleficent (2014) was the highest grossing movie in Brazil in 2014, of course 2014 was a weak year, but still number 1. Real is much weaker now than it was in 2014, Maleficent 1 made R$74m Reais and became $33m dollars, with today exchange rate R$74m Reais would be $18m dollars, and thats what I think Maleficent 2 will make (R$70m/R$80m Reais total), close in Reais but far behind in dollar, let's see when the official numbers come out.

    Suicide Squad made another $61m after the third weekend where SS made $20.8m, of course SS has summer weekdays, but even in the weekdays Joker has bigger than SS Weekdays (this week), with a much bigger third weekend ( between $28m- $30m), $300m Domestic 100% guaranteed to Joker.

    Joker has R$87m (around $21,2m Dollar), and 5.5m adm now, surpassed Aladdin and already is the 6th biggest movie of the year. Just to get an idea of how bad the exchange rate is at the moment, Logan made R$91m Reais and that was $29m dollars (in march 2017), Joker with R$87m Reais is $21m dollars.
