I don't see Robbie pulling off a role like Emma's in La La Land or Birdman. Or JLaw's in Silver Linings/mother!, not saying she's a bad actress or anything but still.
She's stunning but she doesn't have the range of Emma Stone or even JLaw. She just plays the same variation of characters, even in Babylon it looks like she's playing a version of Harley/Sharon from OUATIH.
They were so unable to bear it that it outgrossed Ragnarok at the domestic box office!
Even the biggest haters of the movie would accept that a longer run time would have helped to flesh out some things that were missing in the theatrical cut.
I've felt that. I remember from 2016-2019 it was at its peak. My twitter feed was full of superhero gifs and stuff. And it always felt like both fandoms were looking forward to the next big release. Now there's barely hype for Black Adam and the hype for BP2 is nowhere near the first one's despite the amazing teaser response from July.
Not sure why all these actors want to work this hack of a director. Poor Margot she been chasing that Oscar high since I, Tonya but now Twitter wants to cancel her.
The only thing that remotely makes me want to watch this now is some review called it Tarantino-lite in some scenes but Leitch couldn't carry the dark comedy/dialogues like his movies.
I take my words back, this might as well be the best teaser from MCU. The song transition and emotional touch is unlike anything before. The editor of first BP teaser worked on this and it shows! 7.8m views on Youtube already.
Everything about this movie seems like Feige and Co. were less hands on. Still think the balance was perfect in Phase-2(Cap TWS, GoTG and first Ant-Man), but then again I like how wildly different every new Phase-4 movie is from the last!
