She hulk was quite successful so S2 makes sense. Agatha . Ok wandavision was a success so can see that but ehh on it. Young avengers can only survive as a tv show atleast for the initial stage. You have introduced Ms marvel in a movie ,so keep her there. Don't think we need another season. Most of the feedback on her was positive even with how audience panned the marvels was. So just build on that with some supporting roles. ( She would fit right in a spiderman film or shang chi 2. Ironheart show doesn't make sense to me. She was a generic quip character that felt out of place in a rather dire wakanda forever film. Just keep her in films and give her supporting roles. Eternals 2 is not happening IMO.

Hardy was one of the weakest parts of the original IMO. Him and Furiosa worked great together but on his own he wasn't given enough.

As per fricking usual. Studio execs just being so out of tune and getting the wrong lessons. Yeah we can discuss it all day . Disney sucks at diversity and representation and it all comes off as hollow and superficial and doing it just doing it because it's "trendy". But Marvels bombed bse no one cared and it had shoddy writing just like most of phase 5 and 4. Oversaturation ,bloated storyline and characters and a world clearly most of us and the GA don't care about anymore . Same goes for the rest of it's IPS. Pixar is not the same WDAs needs a rehauling. Enough has been said about starwars and live action remakes . Yeah we can complain about the vitriolic side of internet, and talk about the need for more diversity but if the story is not good or the very least attractive to audiences, if the characters are not relatable or interesting Movie won't do well.

Sure 2023 may have higher box-office than 2022 . But 2023 IMO has just been shit year with some outstanding overperformers. Barbenhiemer and Mario were the major standouts. The level of high profile bombs this year has been astounding. This is where the status quo has started shifting especially for established franchises. Late 2021-2022 was a post civid honeymoon phase . Jurassic world Dominion would have been a sub 300m Dom and Sub 800m WW in 2023.

He is been getting kind of worse since Mando S1, cracks started to appear in S2 and by S3 ... Ashoka was his baby and it kind of petered out by the end. Nah . The general Audience is the chief decider. If they are not interested or think a movie is not worth there time ,they will not turn up. You can complain about film bros as much as you want or some of us here giving criticism as " haters" . But the critics and audience have also turned around the MCU for giving us less quality . Audience metrics and box office speak for themselves. If you like current MCU fine and if you want a comfortable space for that ,fine too. Yeah poeple go overboard and that needs to be handled . But Criticism can help something grow and is a means to hold those in charge accountable. So don't expect us to see franchise going wayward and act all " happy and everything is fine" when it's not. That would be unrealistic.

I disagree. Think 2025 has to stand on the success of it's movies to really change the narrative. Deadpool may be great but if the subsequent movies are not, it will be a shot fix ,raise the tide a little but it will come crushing down fast again. In l.5 years we moved from DS2 to the marvels". And that was MCU still in peak levels of excitement to apathy . Post covid , Audiences have been picky and are in " wait and see" . We have had mega hits surprises followed by mega bombs . So can see a scenario of alot of excitement for Deadpool 3(500/1.1bn) followed by complete apathy for cap 4(150/400m)

Only Ms marvel and Kate bishop are good but they are not enough to drive tickets. America Chavez was an absolute nothing burger in MOM. Ofcorse wiccan and speed will be aged up actors . Stature ,skaar ,ironheart,kid Loki Who gives a hell ...... This will be a show . A movie like this Barring stellar marketing and reception would bomb so hard.

Cap 4 is already shooting so can't do anything about that . Only hope for the best. F4 is F4. Blade is cheap. Thunderbolts well hasn't shot anything. If they are to can something ,this should be the one. Don't know how much will change . But cap4 and this were originally connected so one could hurt the other if Cap 4 ends up bad .

There is no way captain marvel isn't in next avengers. It would be a PR nightmare. See rose tico situation where they acknowledge her but reduce her role. Basically like EG where she had little screentime but slightly worse. Another is kill her off in avengers movie.

In an ideal world . Captain marvel 2: secret invasion . That would have made way more money. Instead we get a shitty show that ruins good source material . And the marvels with 2 Disney + leads who the audience didn't care about. Iman vellani is great but she is not a draw for now.

Its data set we can use . Once again it's not perfect. Will never know fully know what fully happens behind the studios . Know there a lot of variables but what better data set can you suggest . Once again this list is not highest stamp of objectivity . All we know the movies on this list atleast lost considerable amount of money. It could be more or less than declared.

IM2 is one of my worst MCU movies but it's miles better than Quantumania. Tony's acting alone ,storyline with his father, hammer 's comedic timing are way better than anything quantumania can master up. Not an MCU thread . But for me the notion that critics harder on it is there to an extent but it's gets a little overexxagerated . The quality has dropped we would be seeing a more clearer divide btn audience and critics . But when critics and audiences agree on the same negative outcome ,there is something wrong with your product.

6 of 13 illumination movies are rotten. Critics don't exactly handle them with gloves either.

Tbh WDAs hasn't been strong since 2016 when they had Zootopia and Moana . Wralph wrecks was dissapointing Frozen 2 felt like it barely had a story Raya is overrated as hell. Encanto was decent Never bothered with strange world.

Disney has a brand and reputation so their is a higher internal sub conscious expectation Illumination animation really targets kids specifically. It just knows how to make fun entertainment for kids to enjoy. Other than first minions which is the most nothing movie ,can't comfortably watch the rest , it's like animation junk food . Pixar and WDAs are not this .
