Good for J3 and F2. Meh for Star wars. I am really happy with F2 staying power. With so much competition in female demographic (LW) and family demographic (J3 and SID), F2 continues to perform good.

Wow, this weekend drop is terrible. There is no other way to put it. Despite being holidays this movie is not doing itself any favour. I think competition is very tough this time. Jumanji 3 Frozen 2 Little Women Spies in disguise Uncut Gems All are cutting into Star Wars.

Soul will break into Top 5. BOP is not looking like breakout to me. It's looking more like Shazam than Aquaman and Joker.

The fact that Eternals is in Top 10 already confirms my prediction. Eternals is going to be highest grossing movie of the year. -
Jumanji 3 looks like 300m grosser to me. If it hold strong next week 350m is also possible. January is pretty much dead for family movies.

There is nothing wrong in Frozen 2 finishing with 130m in Japan. That's very good total in my opinion. -

The episode was peak Star Wars. Perfectly sets up second season. Also, Bay Yoda: -
Lower than all. Add Alaadin also. It's OS total will be less than Aladdin. Total 8 movies this year are going to have larger OS total than Tros. That's crazy whichever way you look at it.

So, Star wars will drop more than 50% this weekend. After opening lower 50%+ drop is not justified.

I have never seen a song hyped as much Let it Go. That song while catchy is very deep and can we used for various purposes.

Little Women is not a very good. I was sad that it didn't get nominated at GG. But after watching it, I understand the sub. Basically it's very safe film. Florence Pugh is the best thing in the movie. Timothy is good as always.

Frozen 2 soundtrack is at no. 5 on Billboard 200.

Frozen 2 is going to increase a lot. Perfect winter theme movie for Christmas. Soundtrack is also doing really good. I think the major reason behind both Frozen and Frozen 2 success is the sisterly bond. There are very few princess movies that emphasise more on positive relations rather than negative. Frozen has solidified itself at very strong brand not only domestic but Overseas also.
