  1. Barbie at 700k euros, first day under the million, and The Meg 2 opened at 500k which is higher than the first (it ended at 5M)
  2. Yesterday another day over 1M, and today it will surpass Mario! 😮
  3. Yeah it's doing much more than expected, we'll see with how much it will end in a few months
  4. With Kraven, Dune, Wonka etc all possibly delayed I may be "forced" to go see films that I wouldn't have considered before like The Meg, Ninja Turtles or the horror about Dracula as there will probably be almost nothing in the theaters...
  5. Barbie reached 18M euros after just a 30% drop during the weekend, while Mission Impossible with a 40% drop reached 4M (I'm not sure if it can still reach 5M) In the meantime Indiana Jones and Elemental continue their interesting battle after having both a 20% drop and a 5.7M total, with Indiana Jones outgrossing it on the weekdays and Elemental doing the same of the weekends
  6. Yeah for movie releases it's like that, sometimes they even open of wednesday which I hate 🙄
  7. Nice, I guess 90% of this gross comes from Japan right? And in Poland where is was released much later what's the total gross?
  8. Question for the other visitors of the Italy thread, we have seen many movies recovering after a bad opening weekend or even more commonly dropping heavily after a good opening weekend, but have we even seen something reverse the trend after the first two weeks? For example having two bad weeks and then starting having good holds only from the third or having two good weeks and then starting dropping big only from the third?
  9. Damn I'm sorry to hear that, unfortunately crime is low but it's still there, especially in the bigger cities when it comes to stealing things. I hope you aren't agitated anymore and managed to sleep at least a little 😢 I remember that when I was in Rome a guy tried to steal the phone from my dad's pocket since it was sticking out from the back of the trousers, in broad daylight, in the middle of the street and with no people around, as if it was the most normal thing in the world. Luckily he changed his mind and kept walking in another direction as if nothing happened (I saw it from distance but was ready to pursue him in case)
  10. Mario has finally reached 750M in the international market, 18th of all time! Now let's wait and see if Barbie will pass the 600M and join the list
  11. And I that I thought 20.4M euros was more than enough to remain safely in first position, now Barbie out of nowhere could outgross it and maybe even No Way Home at 24.9M...
  12. Yeah the thousands of people with damages to their house or car (or both) now have certainly other priorities than watching Barbie or Mission Impossible in theaters, so it could have been even higher
  13. Mario is at just 4M from Frozen II, but at this point it's probably too much to pass it
  14. Updated! Top animated movies in Europe - Ice Age 3 - 410M - Frozen 2 - 335M - Super Mario Bros - 335M - Minions - 325M - Ice Age 4 - 305M Then we have Shrek 2 at 300M and a couple others near this number (one was Finding Nemo and then I guess the original Lion King)
  15. Bro, come on Tolo Tolo in its first monday made 3.9M euros, while Quo Vado 4.1M. If we exclude Checco Zalone who plays a different sport we would need to check The Lion King and a few others, but Barbie should be in the top 10
  16. 380M overseas of which 150M in China For the sequel I'm thinking: 100M in Usa/Canada, 200M overseas and then over 150M in China
  17. Damn at this point 15M euros for Barbie is almost locked, for anything more let's wait and see For Mission Impossible instead there was a -38%, the total is now 3.1M which is 500k less than Fallout at the same point Then there is also Le Otto Montagne which returned in top 10 a few months from the last time, the total is now close to 5.9M
  18. Yeah this year we had many sequel/spin off/remake as always but we even had the return of sagas I thought were already dead like Transformers, Hunger Games and Indiana Jones In any case Mission Impossible is certainly one of the most popular and appreciated ones so the problems must be something else
  19. A 560M breakeven point is so absurd it's almost insulting, 625M should be the absolute minimum and it's already being generous...
  20. Truly impressive, now we are sure it will finish above both Little Mermaid and Fast X at 12M, but I don't think it will reach Mario at 20M In any case I have a feeling that this could end up among the 20/30 highest grossing movies ever in the city of Milan, if only there was somebody able to extrapolate all the necessary data
  21. Yeah I've read the same, and it's kinda absurd since South Korea is already one of the developed countries where women have it worse in comparison to men
  22. No this seem the same price as usual Yeah and I'm curious to see today's results instead, considering that at least here in Lombardy there was some disastrous wind and rain wich caused some damage (and, among other things, my WiFi is still not working...)
