  1. After the opening weekend I thought the 200M were a done deal, are they still in play?
  2. Just saw C'è Ancora Domani returned on theaters for Women's day on the 8th March and grossed another 100k euros, the total is now €36.5M with 5.4M tickets sold!
  3. I've seen that for the first part of 2024 there are many anime re-releases, from Lupin and Captain Harlock movies to the Dragon Ball and One Piece ones, plus also Perfect Blue and some of Shinkai Hoping that they'll make some money I will update the ranking again as soon as they've all finished, without forgetting that Spy x Family is also coming out
  4. The author of my favourite series 😢 I'm sorry he died so early and also in the 40th anniversary of Dragon Ball, with many events and celebrations planned over the course of the year 😞
  5. Definitely not, isn't it supposed to open with 30M?
  6. Yeah I think it will end at 11M too Bob Marley in the meantime grossed another million and passed Rocketman, next is Elvis at 3M
  7. Happy for Buddy Daddies winning in its category, I really liked it
  8. For some comparisons Elvis grossed 3M euros, Rocketman less than 2M and Whitney 1M And then we have Bohemian Rhapsody which made 29M
  9. Yeah it also helped Joker a lot at the time I also wanted to add that making for example a comparison with Everything Everywhere they will probably end up with a similar total gross, while here in Italy instead it has already grossed 3 times as much
  10. 100M incoming, it's madame webbing time!
  11. Past lives opened with 1M euros, while Madame Web had a 780k euros debut so half of Morbius which then ended at 3M...
  12. Oh nice, curious to see how it does there and also in other countries
  13. I have a feeling Madame Web is going to gross less than 1B yen
  14. Hey guys I've heard that after grossing 36M euros in Italy "C'è Ancora Domani" by Paola Cortellesi is getting screened in some theaters of Paris, does anyone have any data or number?
  15. C'è ancora domani still in top 10 after more than 3 months 😱
  16. It's possible they are waiting for when it wins 10 Oscars to increase the public interest and the potential box office?
  17. From the reviews the latest film by Pieraccioni seems to be the worst of his career (so far) but it opened in first position with 1.3M euros As I like to remember every time he does a new film, this is the same guy who had two movies making 40M and 38M euros in the 90' Then some updates, The Boy and the Heron is at 6.2M, Wonka at 14.2M, C'è Ancora Domani at 35.6M and Wish at 9.1M
  18. Little update, is now at 381.4 in North America and at 309.3M internationally. The total is 690.7M dollars
  19. C'è Ancora Domani grossed 400k euros in its 12th weekend and surpassed the 35M euros and the 5.1M admissions of Avatar 2 Excluding the 4 Checco Zalone movies, the last Italian film to gross more by estimates was "Chiedimi se Sono Felice" by Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo with 38M euros in 2000
  20. @Issac Newton sure, here it is: Highest grossing anime movies in Italy 1) The Boy and the Heron - 5.5 million 2) Captain Harlock - 5.1 million 3) Pokemon 1 - 4.7 million 4) Pokemon 2 - 3.1 million 5) Stand By Me Doraemon - 2.6 million 6) Dragon Ball Super: Broly - 2.5 million 7) Spirited Away - 1.5 million 8)Dragon Ball Super Hero - 1.4 million 9) Doraemon Movie n. 34 - 1.3 million 10) Doraemon Movie n. 35 - 1.2 million 11) The Wind Rises - 1.2 million 12) Jujutsu Kaisen 0 - 1.1 million 13) Howl's Moving Castle - 1.1 million 14) One Piece Red - 1 million 15) Ponyo - 980k 16) Dragon Ball Z Battle of Gods - 960k (two days release) The two Pokemon movies were released between 1994 and 2001 when Cinetel wasn't tracking everything, so their real gross is likely to be 50/100% higher
  21. After the 3.9M opening week it has a big chance to outgross Captain Harlock at 5.1M for the highest grossing anime movie in Italy, even if by estimates the title should go to the first Pokemon movie at over 9M
