I've just looked at the release schedule for April and it's pretty bad.Five-Year Engagement, The Lucky One, Pirates and American Reunion seem like the only films that could do well.I'm most excited for Cabin in the Woods, but I have a feeling it'll underperform. -
What was the bigger surprise for people?The Devil Inside doing $16.8m friday or Safe House doing $15m?Devil Inside's opening is by far the biggest shock of the year so far for me.

A. I loved this film.Charlize's performance was incredible.Diablo Cody continues to be one of my favourite writers.Someone mentioned above that there was no resolution or conclusion or change. This was one of my favourite things.Personality can't be changed overnight, and I'm glad there wasnt a sappy hollywood revelation at the end.

This is my favourite Friday the 13th film.Don't hate me. I just think it's very well made. -
Freddy Vs. Jason is so much fun and I was mega hyped up at the time of release.However I watched it recently and it doesnt hold up as well as I remembered. Mostly problems with the acting/script and effects that I didn't notice before.We need a sequel.

I'm just glad it wasn't some blockbuster sequel that got the record.It's not Harry Potter, Transformers or a superhero film...it's a wedding-chick-flick. I love that.Studio keeps most of the revenue because there arent individual costs associated with renting through the tv. -
Can't believe Jack and Jill made £800,000 but Young Adult didn't go top 10.Something is wrong with people's heads.

Well they should start Orange Wednesdays, seriously.I went to see Young Adult last night, didn't even make the top 10 here, but it sold out a 350 seater.I have a Cineworld card, so I usually avoid Wednesdays. But the cinemas are insanely busy.
