I am still debating if this was the best Marvel movie or not. If it isn't, it is, at worst, second. Obviously I really enjoyed it. It hit all the right chords for me. It was funny, but not forced or the sometimes bad Marvel humor, it actually had emotion and attachment for the characters, as well. Great soundtrack of course, which with all the youngins here, may not be as appreciated as it should be I loved the end credit scene although only me and maybe two other people seem to get it. But I laughed. A

Face/Off

Yeah I caught the first few then kind of dropped it too. Then I decided to catch up after I missed about 3 or so episodes and was kind of shocked at the vast improvement

Yeah it's a good series. I was surprised when it turned out the way it did. Early on I was just watching to watch, then it increasing got better.

Another somewhat slow episode and not sure we needed to see the rocker dude turn into a Ken doll. I'll leave that as a spoiler for now until everyone has seen it But at least at the end, the good guys are finally kind of in on what is going on so I think it will speed up from here.

I liked it enough. It was fun, some of the action was really good. I do agree it was a bit slow to set up the big third act/ending, but that part was very good to me. People laughed at all the right parts and I thought it was funny at times as well. The supporting cast did their job and of course, I liked the Rock, It's nothing earth shattering, but still was a fun time B

I, for the most part, enjoyed the movie. I can see why people didn't though as I think the advertising could be taking as misleading for what the movie actually was. However if they marketed what it really is, I don't think it would have done as well moneywise either. As a joke, mainly the main story is: take drugs, getting smarter means you don't care about anyone and that once you get to a 100%, you turn into the trapper keeper/Cartman combo from South Park But really, it was entertaining enough but nothing incredible either B

Overall, I think it was better than the first movie. It at least actually really dealt with the premise. However, in the long run, both movies tend to disintegrate into just something generic. This one is really just an action movie. But even saying all that, I do like how it goes into how the rich and poor deal with the Purge differently and how there is a section of the population that knows the Purge is actually wrong. It shows how it is really being used to hold people down and that the government is in on the hold thing to help the well-off and to get rid of what they see as poor or lesser people in their minds. Nothing scary of course as I don't care what they say, this is not a horror film at all. I would give it a B as it was decent enough, but nothing special

Second episode wasn't too bad, not too much happened except dad should have left his daughter to dry herself off but still pretty good and it starts to show that the "survivors" are there for a reason

I was thinking the same thing because I remember enjoying it enough Not a big fan of Chris Pine, but I am a big Denzel fan so that always helps

It felt different for me just going to a normal movie screen after seeing it in IMAX. I will still buy it but I think that got me prepared to see it on a smaller screen

I enjoyed the movie and I won't add much to what a lot of people have said already. Water Bottle and numbers probably put it best for me. I like a lot of it but there was just a little something missing for me that would make it an obvious A. At this point, I am leaning towards the A-/B+ area. Still very good, but just a bit short of being great
