  1. The girl that wanted to see this finally picked a day and we saw it earlier in the week. I didn't want to say anything at the end until she did because I didn't think it was that good, but she agreed so I was off the hook Like AA, and baumer knows this too, I don't have a problem with this series and it does get a lot of hate for some reason. I don't have the series high on any of my lists but still it is harmless. I have to put this as the 2nd worst of the series for me, just above New Moon. I can deal with the fighting scene although just from the trailers I knew it was a vision. The CGI of the baby and kid growing up was just horrendous. Well actually most of the CGi was bad. There were just completely useless characters, and I am glad someone else brought this up but the whole scene where it ends Loch Ness line was horrible. I get that was in the book, but that doesn't make any less bad. Even with saying all that, I get why fans of the series really enjoy it. I can see how it it wrapped up the series very well for them especially with the "clip show" ending. I am going back and forth between a C-/D+ at this moment. It will probably be closer to the C - after the initial taste of the whole movie goes away though
  2. I really want to see it as well, but it's not playing anywhere near me
  3. Unfortunately, it isn't at any theater really near me. There was one a bit further than my closest one that did it on Wednesdays though. Not sure if they still do it

  5. I figured you would take the bad news better if I said it first
  6. While not one of Mel Brooks' best films, it is still a pretty good flick. I enjoy watching and it does have some moments. "Because unlike some other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent" B
  7. You know it may be hit hard since the blu ray is coming out tomorrow
  8. I take it that this is for the remake coming out on Wednesday?
  9. Oh sir, the Giants of New York took on the Packers of Green Bay. And in the end, the Giants triumphed by kicking an oblong ball made of pigskin through a big "H". It was a most ripping victory.
  10. All the Honest Trailers are good. Love their stuff. As for this movie, yeah it seems to be doing the same as the others. I thought may have been able to go up somewhat, but it still falls inside what most people were expecting. I can see why that is disappointing to some people, but overall, it is still fine.
  11. What they are saying is even if you take away the 3D surcharges, DH2 still had a bump in attendance and gross from DH1
  12. It still can go either way since BD1 had about the same midnights and ended up with $138.1 mil for the weekend. But yes $150 can still be in play for now
  13. Well "if you ain't first, you're last" :PJust messing with you, baumer
  14. See, that's not what I was getting at. This is about assigned seating, not advanced tickets. It's not they can't be bought in advance, it's now you are fighting the same people that would be standing in line at a theater to try to get the "good seats". It's just you are doing it online instead of in person. That's all
  15. Yeah I can definitely see in smaller places how that would work. Don't get me wrong, if it worked for me the same as it works for you, I would be all over it
  16. but that's my point. To use the sports reference like someone did earlier, when tickets go on sale for the football team near me, they literally sell out all 8 games for the season in less than 8 minutes. So back to movies and not even going into selling out, people would still have to fight for decent seats the same way. So really there is no advantage to assigned seating
  17. To me, because it won't make a difference. Either way is technically unfair. One way you have to fight someone online to buy tickets you want, if you are around a computer. Or you have to get to a movie early to be in line for a decent seat. It's all the same
