  1. I think IT is better, but that's not a knock against Get Out at all
  2. Did you check out the Losers Club section on the movie's main webpage? It's kind of cool. It does give away some scenes that I don't think are in the movie for those that haven't seen it yet
  3. pretty meh, but it's just a teaser. I'll hold judgement until the real trailer comes out
  4. we weren't lying but glad you saw it for yourself to see what we were saying. But obviously it won't hurt your anticipation for the movie so all is good
  5. she has before, but was mostly kidding anyway, so calm yourself down. get upset Friday afternoon when the first numbers start to show up
  6. he wishes mother will make $70 mil total domestically
  7. There is nothing spoilerish and it's from WB official youtube. It just a very quick featurette with King himself discussing the themes of the book. It's only about a minute long
  8. Blockbusters? no. More horror films? Yes I think what will happen is they will see again that horror films are incredibly profitable so they will make as many as they can and run it into the ground, as Hollywood usually does when something becomes popular. There will still be good horror films out there and some will get the "blockbuster" treatment, but I don't see them going majorly in that direction. Hopefully I'm wrong though
  9. agreed, I saw IT twice and both times, the crowd laughed at the trailer. I said it before, that bad trailer won't hurt the movie or mean the film is not good, just think they should have showed a better one.
  10. but seriously, they can get away with one big name and still have a low budget
  11. And to piggyback off what baumer said, this is why IT scares them as adults to try to get them to leave sgain. IT is scared that if they remember and come together again they can not only hurt him again but finish the job.
  12. let's see if they can make it even worse than the 2nd one where pretty much literally nothing happens and still somehow had worse acting and more
  13. we have an amazing weekend going on and somehow we are on about crappy HP plays and spinoffs. Typical BOT weekend thread lol
  14. he's probably asking because after seeing FB. why would he want to pick that as a username?
  15. Now that you reminded me, I think the basement scene with Pennywise using Georgie as a puppet and then going after Mike was the most "scary " scene
  16. What I noticed more the second time or at least I put it together the second viewing, was that the hair coming out to grab Bev, was her own hair that she cut off earlier in the film I think the blood was more of a female thing with her buying the feminine hygiene product at the store if you get my drift. But yes I get how you can see the scenes being familiar. As for the tighty whities, being alive in the 80s, we didn't have lots of options back then so we all mostly had those lol
  17. Hard to say what is rhe scariest for me, well none actually were scary to me but the scenes were nonetheless effective. I may go with the projector though
