You really don't need to see the original. I won't say any more than that. After watching BR2049 last night, the original really isn't needed to get this one. Not saying don't watch the original, mind you -
I can see some of that happening. I don't think it will be rampant, but the people leaving and even one of the ushers asked us as we left the theater if the movie felt like it was long. The people that answered said no, but like you said, it appears to be an issue already out there

I liked it. Won't say much more than that right now as I have to get to sleep. But I will say I'm not sure how this will play with audiences as two people walked out about halfway through and didn't come back.

Nah, first look or whatever they have now starts 20 minutes beforehand lol Yes I get you probably mean with trailers added too. Oh so you are the person that comes in right before the movie starts and interrupts everyone . Jerk Kidding

I can and it has nothing to do with of the YA films. Like you said, I don't hold it against people like Kristen Stewart or Jennifer Lawrence or Ansel either. I just haven't seen a good/great performance from him, in my opinion of course and I did see Baby Driver. Not saying his is the worst thing on the planet or anything, but I don't think he's all that good either.

absolutely they could make basically an anthology with just using the different time periods on the film. I would welcome it if they did it right.

I agree. I don't see any way this can flop. Even if somehow it dropped all the way down to $300 mil just DOM, that still wouldn't be a flop. unless it was all sarcasm or a joke

Well I didn't like that you can only use it once in 24 hours or whatever it was the last time I checked, so yeah, good idea but it won't work in my case it seems. OH well, glad it works for most people though

Yeah I liked District 9 and Chappie. Elysium not so much but it wasn't terrible either

I wasn't sure if any of the clips in this were spoilerish. I don't think they are, but figured I'd test it in here first then maybe move it to the main movie thread. But for those that like Batman and the psychology of him, as well as, IT. I thought this was pretty well done
