Well I went in with hopes and an open mind since for me none of the marketing worked and gave me red flags. Sadly, the move was exactly what I was worried about with the trailers and such. Too much of "hey this is attached to the Avengers" movie stuff just like with the SW PT. I know that is more of a nitpick just like a lot of the CGI with Spidey wasn't good is nitpicking too. But almost none of the humor worked for me, all the kids were not that good except his friend. Zendaya was bad, or it was her character was bad, but either way, they did nothing to ease my fears of her going forward. I don't care that she is MJ at all, just want her to be able to act. And the stupid fake twist that she was MJ was unnecessary and so obvious like Khan in ST. I didn't think the Liz or Flash was all the great either. I know it sounds like I am trashing the movie, but it wasn't awful, just I think I am still in the disappointment phase. It was a lot like SM1 in some ways and whoever says this was like a John Hughes movie just must think any movie that has a scene in high school is a Hughes movie Keaton was fine with what he was given which wasn't much. I give it at best a B for now. It may go up or down as I think about it more

Good number for Spidey. Just wished I liked the movie more than I do right now. And Baby Driver wasn't all that great for me either. Oh well at least I got to do the drive in finally

Well since I have time between movies., I sadly have to say that Spider man was very disappointing to me. It was just like the mediocre trailers. It wasn't horrible but don't see the big deal at all about it.

Sitting in my car on a beautiful night at the drive in waiting for the Spiderman /Baby driver double feature to start in about 45 minutes

ok yeah, I'm going to break down and do the drive-in tonight to see Spider-man. I have to be there about 2 hours before the even movie starts, but that will give me time to take a nap since I've been up some 4 am and the second movie, if I stay, will end after 1 am

For me it's Dunkirk and probably Apes. I will see Spidey, probably tonight, but not really excited for it. So yeah soon enough IT will be my main focus too so they better have some good trailers left

That sounds about right. But yeah its about 2 months away now so they have to start ramping up the marketing at least by then. Yes I did my own marketing for me by reading the book but yeah I want more of this movie to keep my hopes up that they get it right
