Same. I know a late embargo doesn’t necessarily mean a bad thing but I was hoping for earlier to boost sales with hopefully good reviews. -

Maybe but I would argue that would be a very small portion of people. I would also argue that most people don’t even get that info of a movies box office results. People have their own echo chamber they live in. Also in Furiosa’s case specifically I doubt any function human being will look at the fantastic review, fantastic WOM and then box office news and be like ah I this is flopping so I will not go.

Nobody is going on Twitter or reading a deadline article then deciding “Ah this movie if flopping, then I shall not watch it!” This movie has really been followed by some of the worst takes in a long time

They are over doing it. It flopped. Easy as that. Accept it. Every time these people on Twitter find a way to bring in marvel to deflect whatever negative their precious movie has and find someone else to blame. It’s pathetic.

The twist is the only good about the movie imo. Rest of it is painfully mediocre . One of few films from that saga I hate.

The list is basically the flavor of the year of actors. Next year or in two years probably over half of them are not there anymore. Chalamet and Zendaya is probably the only ones that stays relevant over the next years

IIRC Marvel is operating under the new mandate from Iger that they everythig needs to be ready and planned, sequences locked before shooting and having to change minimal after shooting so they should be able to reach a July date but why not just take November. Unless it’s a spider movie taking blade’s place ofc

So in terms of live actions it’s: 2024: Agatha and Echo 2025: Daredevil and Iron Heart 2026: Wonder Man and VisionQuest? No offense to Vision but I rather have a season 2 to Hawkeye, Moon Knight or Ms.Marvel tbh

That won’t happen. That doesn’t happen with MCU movies. The reception with audiences and critics is pretty much aligned every time. At worst there is a small disparity but something like Mario won’t happen. Also a lot of people want to highlight Levy work as a potential issue which is completely fair but I will point that his work on Stranger Things especially season 4 isn’t nothing short of excellent. So he has it in him and hopefully with Feige he managed to make something good. -
Furiosa sales in Norway are not good. Looks to be a disappointment sadly. Just like Apes.
