This year is going to be INSANE in all acting categories especially supporting. people who look to have a shot are so high-profile it`s mind-blowing.same with movies. Too many huge movies with outstanding or expected to be outstanding reviews. They better don`t award some small shit.

The thing is no one really knows why this guys attracts the audience and that guy doesn`t. In most cases, it isn`t even down to movie quality or appeal of the character. It`s just something that can`t be measured by polls,google searches, twitter trending, fangirl screaming,etc.

I get what you are saying baumer but there are names that simply don`t attract big crowds although they are supposed to. Segel/Rudd pairing still didn`t go bananas like some other actor pairings. people like what people like and don`t care for whom they don`t care. They want to see Vin and Dwayne in the same movie. Boom. They paired them in Fast Five and the result was through the roof. They don`t care for segel and Rudd separately or together so their pairing didn`t go 21 Jump Street. Etc.

Jonah Hill is making a nice career out of double-act. he&Cera, he&Brad,he&Channing. Nice.

Jason Segel, Paul Rudd,etc are not stars. The sooner Hollywood understands that, the better. They work in an ensamble but they are not leads. Nothing wrong with that. It`s funny how many suppoerting actors waste their careers trying and failing to lead.

Don`t you people wonder what would have become of him if there hadn`t been Star Wars? he quit truck driving as soon as he saw Star Wars and decided to make movies. I guess that he`d become ocean and space explorer anyway but he wouldn`t have made feature films.
