Considering this has a home vdo release in most countries earlier next month, should we expect it to pass $600m OS still? I wish FOX wouldn't decide to release the home vdo so soon. I've had a lot of fun following the BO run of this movie. The most surprised and impressive OS box office run in my recent memory. -
Glad to know that. I think I might enjoy both too but I only have one free ticket.

This might be a small sample but I asked 12 people from work who'd seen SS and 11 of them said they liked/loved it. I think GA might be kinder to the movie than fans/critics. I give it 7-7.5/10 myself. It's flawed but captivating and fun. Btw.. I have a free movie ticket which movie should I pick between Lights Out, the Shallows and Tarzan?

But..but..it's a great theme. ?If they don't want to re-use it they can still keep the basic melodies and modernise it or incorporate them with new music like what we have with TLR. Anyway. I hope the movie itself turns out to be as fun and epic as the trailer looks.?

I hope they could just change the director without delaying the project but everything is easier said than done here.

I think delaying JL would make it worse really. People who's debating seeing it or the potential repeat viewers might have no reason to go to see BvS if it's direct sequel is no longer a certain project.

He isn't always in JL from the start though. The new 52 for sure doesn't use him in the first few arcs.

So do I. It's easy for non-fans to just say.. 'just scrap the whole thing and reboot". It isn't that easy. I love MCU but it'd be a lie if I said I didn't think about the possibility of JL movie every time I watch TA and AOU.

There's a guy on SHH who said he'd seen that cut. He gave it a point higher than the theatrical cut, that the plots and sup-plots made more sense and there're more character development. Doesn't matter if he's a valid source or not because I'm going to buy that ultimate cut anyway. And I don't believe they though highly of the movie. They wouldn't have shown all the best bits in the marketing had they trusted the WOM could carry the movie.

Then WB should have made a much better movie than this. I like the movie a lot but it should have been much much better.

I hope they just push it back and find a right director without rebooting nor recasting. I don't need another origin story for Superman and Batman movie, I already know the name of their mother..lol.

I still want to see JL movie with the same casts though so where should I go from here? I don't trust him to do my character justice so I don't give a damn if he has to go but my dream of seeing JL on the big screen is on the line as well.

No. It won't match AOU anywhere internationally. In fact it's the other way around. It's underperformed in most OS territories compare to DOM.

CW might just do it. It's basically TA3 with more characters and more interesting conflict than AOU.

BvS doesn't open to it's full potential though. Do you think THG would have made that number with the same kind of critical/audience receptions? Same goes for the other movies you mentioned.

Fair enough. Just for the record even though I enjoyed BvS enough to give it an 8, I also think it's the worst possible JL set up for me so the film didn't leave me unscratched either.lol.

I'll be honest with you. I got spoiled before seeing the movie too and I felt dreadfully down before seeing it. Turned out I enjoyed it a lot even though all the issues were still there. My point is reading about it will never be the same as seeing it. Big screen experience can never be replicated. Sorry if it sounds like I'm nagging you to see it but it's one of those film that has more to it than what you can read on paper.
