Did the test match happen every boxing day (sorry I don't follow cricket)? I don't remember if the match had any effects on BO the other years. 5m would still be a great number for the second Sat though. -

Yes, 5 movies if you don't take SW7 first weekend into the count. And it's also going to break a few records that no one cares about right now like fastest to 400m,450m and 500m by tomorrow..

Umm.. I know anything over 150m second weekend looks ridiculous (on paper) but it's just as ridiculous to predict the second Fri (which happens to be X-Mas day) to perform less than it's first Mon. It's logically and historically impossible..

X-Mas day numbers aren't going to be that exciting, in my city most of the cinemas are closed and the one that aren't only start showing from 3PM. Boxing day should make up for it though. Having said that, I'm going for my second viewing today instead because there aren't many good seats left for me tomorrow. -
200m second weekend? No way.

If it can do that much on Mon can you imagine what kind of number we're going to see on the boxing day? -
I'm proud of that but US people did better than us. It took them less than 2 days.

I still think SW7 numbers are more mind-blowing but I agree with you that it can't beat the WTF degree of JW opening. At the beginning of the year it's always AOU vs SW7 for the crown of 2015 BO greatness. JW wasn't even tracking above Spectre or Minions..

Now, a moment like that would have cleared up a few doubts especially for GA. I have no problem with how their fight turned out cos I kind of filled up the gap myself but there're always people who want everything out in the light.

I don't think 250m is even in play but 245m is already a nice semi-round number.

^^Thanks. I saw a few scenes that could turn out great with 3D so if I can see it in a bigger format I might try 3D.
