    Marvel has nothing to do with making the Spider-Verse movies though.

    I keep forgetting about that factor. Given the way some critics responded to the Joker, it's a very real possibility. Granted, that was related to content from the movie but I could still see dislike for Ezra causing a bias.

    Apparently my friend got two free tickets to a fan screening tomorrow. It's a little last minute though and a bit out of the way so we're just gonna wait for the release.

    I doubt it. That would put too much pressure on DP crew to get it out 4 months early.

    That's a good question. I think WB should lift it asap personally. They could definitely use the positive buzz.

    To be fair, D&D was an extremely niche franchise with bad trailers.
