  1. Yes it has at £51,669,507.F&F6 could be very interesting. I wonder if the fact London seems to be its predominant setting will give it a boost. The franchise has grown substantially and Fast Five made over $30m. I expect somewhere between $40-50m for it given to goodwill of Fast Five too.
  2. This upcoming weekend will be pretty big.I'm gonna say £3.5m for Wreck It Ralph. I really think I give it a year's gonna break out. I see it opening to around £2-2.5m. Hitchcock could also do well with £1-1.5m and probably a similar number for Warm Bodies. Django and Les Mis should also hold fairly well too.
  3. Can't believe how big this franchise has become. It's extraordinary.
  4. I hadn't heard of it until last week when I saw ZDT. The trailer was very, very funnyand got a brilliant reaction.
  5. That'll probably flop. I Give it a year, on the other hand, could do very well.
  6. Half term will be pretty strong this year.
  7. Django's gonna hit £15m. Very nice.Les Mis is unlikely to stay on top again this weekend. Wreck it Ralph should do £3-4m. With half term in two weeks, £20m may be a possibility for it. There hasn't been a kids animation for a long time now.
  8. The UK generated $1.4m for $43.9m and Pi ranks fifth.Another great weekend..should get to at least $48m. Hopefully hits $50m mark.
  9. I Give it a Year could break out I think.
  10. Well it'll hit $85m. That's very good imo. Especially when you look at some other markets.
  11. $83.5m for The Hobbit. Pretty great actually.
  12. In the U.K. and Ireland, LES MIS is the No. 1 film for the fourth weekend in a row. The weekend estimate is $4.7M (£2.9M) at 551 dates for a 24-day total of $48.2M (£30.2M). It is the biggest Hugh Jackman film ever, the second biggest musical ever (behind MAMMA MIA! £69.2M),and the 5th biggest Working Title film of all time in the U.K. and Ireland.Absolutely fantastic. Looks like it'll hit £40m, and it's now the biggest is market for the film! Will top $60m for sure when it's done.
  13. Ohhhhhhhh yeah wow that's quite an achievment. Must've been Avatar to Alice then.
  14. The Hobbit remained at number 1 for 4 weeks straight.
  15. Looks like it's gonna be another flat weekend. Nice!
  16. This year does look particularly strong though. Django, Zero Dark Thirty, Life of Pi and Les Mis all pretty much blew me away. I still need to see Lincoln and Silver Linings Playbook.
  17. I never buy snacks from the cinema, that's for sure. It's like £4 for small popcorn and £2.50 for a bottle of water/coke/fanta or whatever. It's more likely than not you spend more on that than your actual ticket. No fucking thanks. I usually just get something from the supermarket that's conveniently directly opposite the cinema. And on average I'd say like 3 times a month. I rarely go more than once a week.
  18. She was effortlessly brilliant. They didn't need anything fancy to show that.
  19. It's still playing in some cinemas around my area, although it only has 1 or 2 shows a day.
  20. Skyfall gross to date - £102,353,847.
