  1. J. Edgar Saturday, 12:45 PM Attendance: ~100 people, mainly adults and the geriatric crowd (seriously the guy sitting next to me had to have been 80, though it's obvious why this would interest them) Trailers- was a bit late so only caught a few New Year's Eve- bleh Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close- Another bleh, though the shot of the WTC is powerful Safe House- looks pretty good Film: Will save my full reaction for GTM but I can see why it go mixed reviews. Leo and Arnie Hammer were good but the film lacked focus and had terrible pacing. There were more people who showed up than I was expecting but I couldn't tell whether they liked it or not. There were no notable crowd reactions at any point during the film except after a few vulgar comments by Nixon.
  2. Will Jack n Jill hit $100m? It's fucking amazing a load of shit like that wit near 0% RT got $26m OW but basically all Sandler films hit $100m. It's really funny actually, at this point he's basically trolling America.
  3. Seriously incredible for Immortals. I'm shocked and am definitely proven wrong.
  4. Too bad we lost rb_02 in the BOM attack. He'd be loving this.
  5. IMMORTALS MIDNIGHTS: $1.4M http://www.deadline.com/2011/11/midnights-for-immortals-1-4-million/
  6. Ugh, I just googled "Carol Walking Dead" because I wasn't sure which one that was and I came across a major spoiler from the comics. Damn.I think you are being harsh though. Nobody said they want a Michael Bay movie. But next to nothing happened in Sunday's episode.
  7. If they don't find the girl, dead or alive, in the next episode I'm gonna lose it. Also I agree this whole pregnancy thing just seems like it's going to be a nuisance. Especially if there's gonna be a "Whos' da baby daddy???!" drama. Come on, this is Walking Dead, not One Tree Hill. Now all you bitches need catch up on Sons of Anarchy- this season has been on fire!!
  8. I think she's even more annoying in the books. She's a brat.
  9. Ok, and what's the 9? I thought the 9 represented all the TV's currently on (in 18-49).Also how did you post that table? Didn't work when I tried it.
  10. Question, I thought I understood ratings but now I'm confused. For these two.. as I understand it, for New Girl- 3.5 = 3.5% of all TV sets are watching New Girl, and 9% of all people currently watching TV are tuned into New Girl. But if that's the case, and it has the same "rating" as NCIS, why is the viewership so different? Or, that rating is only 18-49, so does NCIS have a much bigger total rating? Or is it because NCIS is an hour long? 9:00 FOX The New Girl 3.5/9 6.80 CBS NCIS: Los Angeles 3.4/8 15.59
  11. It took me quite a few episodes to get into it. Season 1 is still my favorite, though. The "baddy" in that is my favorite.
  12. I like it. Luckily Season 1 was so short I was able to catch up very quickly. However, I am getting really tired of the angle with the children. The damn girl has been lost in the woods for about 4 episodes, and the kid has been in bed for 3. Sunday's episode was actually very boring. Let's move on already.
  13. I'm hearing VERY mixed reviews on this.
  14. Here is the thread to discuss one of the best shows on television, Sons of Anarchy. Beware of le spoilers.I love this, it's one of my favorite shows, and tonight's episode was amazing. I really need to see Clay get his comeuppance before the end of the season, and I'm still worried for Tara. I thought she was dead for sure tonight, but I'm glad Gemma finally pulled her head out of the sand and realizes what needs to be done.Looking back on it now, I realize the last season in Ireland was shit. I was kind of in denial at the time but it just dragged on and on and on and on. That this season has been so great only confirms that. It's "vintage" SOA and it's featured some great storylines- even with secondary characters like Juice who I am really glad has finally gotten a serious character arc this year.Katy Sagal has been incredible in all 4 seasons. She deserved that Golden Globe and then some. Sutter is right to bitch about the Emmy snubs, because Sagal's performance is consistently one of the best on television and the show is easily up there with TV's best dramas.
  15. Me too. I make sure to watch it every October, even if I have to rearrange my schedule a little bit. I've been watching it every year probably since it came out in the early 90's. Grew up with that movie.
  16. I should rent Captain America this weekend.. really wanted to see it.Fairly poor result for Bad Teacher considering it made $100m. WOM has definitely caught up to that one.But Bridesmaids- 2.1 m DVDs :DAlso, love to see Hocus Pocus in there. Great cult classic.
  17. What do you mean you're not allowed to archive? Legally?Anyway- 2 Broke Girls is doing really well for a new show. It's mildly funny too so that's good.
  18. I can only imagine, because I can barely stand him now. Every time he looses his cool and blows up and screams I'm just thinking "asshole!".
  19. I'm not sure I like Skylar either. She is pretty annoying. Jesse is actually the only one I like at this point. It's a captivating show even if it is outlandish. Walt doesn't have to be cooking meth. He has plenty of options and outs. But I guess that is the fascinating part about it. watching this guy make all these bad choices as he deals with his illness/pending death.
  20. Dexter was ok last night, but next week's looks AMAZING!!! Spoiler: ICE TRUCK KILLER is back!!!
  21. So I'm about halfway through Season 2. It was a little hard to get into at first- heavy subject, and a slow burn, but I like it now. Question- Am I supposed to feel sympathy for Walt? He is one of the least likable protagonists I've ever seen on TV. He's a chronic liar, a hot head, not to mention a coward- he lets Jesse takes all the risk and then blames him for every problem they run into. Good thing for Jesse, he's the best part of the show. So far.
