  1. i hate when this happens i just took my merry time writing something well thought out pressed post only for said comment to disappear and don't know how to find what i wrote now what's the point of having your post saved while you're writing if after you can't find it if there is an error when it uploads to the site
  2. i saw toy story 3 first , cried like a baby because the story really touched me and proceeded to immediately get my hands on part 1 and 2 , when you hear that song "you've got a friend in me "beautiful ok nighty night ..
  3. I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THIS MOVIE LOVEEED SMAUG !!!! LOVEEE LEGOLAS !!! saw peter jackson cameo !!! GIMLI mention got a good laugh that scene was so funny , because it reminded me of that convo gimli had with eowyn in two towers ,about the female dwarves tauriel evangeline character i liked her a lot plus she had this look of really enjoying being a part of the film and playing a kickass elf awww legolas legolas i love him and i'm not ashamed of it HE ROCKS ! (haters hate on i don't care) i just love how he had more scenes and who knew he was a regular prince who liked a girl his father didnt aprove of , i love that we got to see mirkwood forest stuff that was mentioned in passing or in the appendices (to think all this happens at least 50 yrs prior to events an i'm curious what's up with thranduil , i thought he looked a bit young until i saw him with legolas and realize yeah he can pass of as his father , he's an interesting character as you see the elves weren't always concerned as much with the affairs of men his scene with thorin was cool but thorin he let his resentment blind him to accepting the elf king offer and what happened to his face in that scene to be honest i read the book 10 yrs ago along with LOTR and appendices , maybe that's one reason i'm enjoying the film as i don't have expectations from it colouring my viewing experience gandalf is always ditching these poor guys , even in LOTR he did it but hey when you're busy important wizard he's def more of a big pic kind of guy can anyone tell me who was the shapeshifter whose house they stayed at one night ? i feel i should know him , funny enough i didnt find the movie's pace was off at any moments i love that he takes his time , could some scene be quicker sure but that's just it , i'm not bothered by their length at all and rather prefer it i find now that i know them from 1st film the dwarves were pretty recognizeable esp the cute bros kili and fili (very easy on the eyes) we really had a lot of fun during smaug scenes esp with bilbo tiptoeying and dear me what a boatload of gold i cannot wait to see these movies in order so much happening on screen and off screen that affects and is concerned with LOTR trilogy , 50 yrs might seem long to us but in elves times that's nothing , for gandalf and sauron its nothing oh my i'm tired going to bed will edit review more tomorrow my eyes are drooping on me as fingers pressed into keys (sorry)
  4. i was going to RTM but then my friend who's on vacation here we started talking about the movie she's really psyched over smaug keeps repeating his last line in the movie then we remembered laughing about gimli and so i went to show who the kid in the picture was in lotr film (extended edition is on my computer always nevermind i have the EE dvds) she also told me she taught gandalf had died so then we quickly skim through fellowship then skipped to return of the king as i explained to her who is who then we somehow ended up watching the movie from the scene where aragorn gimli and legolas arrived in pirate ships with the dead army skipped a few minutes here and there watched fishnets fav character scene in the battle , then frodo on the mountain with sam " i will carry you" aragorn crowned king and the endless endings which always remind me of the 13 times i saw it in theatre and everytime people got up and had to sit back down you know what i realize i'm able to enjoy the film for itself without worrying about pacing and action or lack of action basically the production side as a product but i get thats something we discuss here
  5. 6. i swear i don't know why i bother with you guys and your debbie downer attitude! but i'll put it down to my trepidation over knowing millions get to see it before me ..; I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THIS MOVIE IT WAS AWESOME AND FUNNY AND THE END MAN THAT CLIFFHANGER WAS SOMETHING ELSE EVERYONE WENT WHAAAAT ???? AW COME ON ... LOVEEED SMAUG !!!! LOVEEE LEGOLAS !!! saw peter jackson cameo !!! GIMLI mention got a good laugh nevermind i'm off to RTM to discuss this movie a bit more def going to see this again and back again ... don't give a fart about the numbers i ENJOYED this film and was absolutely ENTERTAINED from beginning to end can't wait for the 3rd entry in the trilogy i'm also looking forward to being able to watch this trilogy followed by LOTR trilogy , i'm just happy because now i've seen it i feel immune to the negative remarks afterall as long as i'm happy about it all is well in my world i'll be seeing it next weekend friday or saturday not sure , i have a friend who just came back yesterday from a trip and was too tired to go out
  7. WB i suppose you're right we'll see permitted they get renewed if its get way better right now one is must see tv and the other its whenever i get around to it but i am opened to AoS getting better
  8. i hate to admit it because i was psyched about AoS before it started but i can only agree with this statement as it is i have yet to watch the latest episode of shield maybe this weekend if i have time for it Man SLADE has me terrified with his plan for oliver and company , i'm quaking in my boots (if i had boots) ... BARRYwas so much more likeable this episode poor thing ,anyone care to explain to me what exactly happened to him i saw the blast the lightning stuff floating but not sure i understand the mechanics of that making him the flash (i'm pretty clueless about flash lore) sooo what's going to happen to ROY now that he was injected with the serum? THE GHOSTS scenes were really emotional esp tommy's i missed the character he was ok as for oliver and felicity awesome scenes when he was pissed off at her , i was like hold your ground felicity stand up to him !
  9. the episode was awesome ! i stayed up so i could see it then chat about it on a forum and its like near 5am good thing there's an hiatus lol
  10. well i finally got my hands on before midnight , should watch it tonight if not at some point during the week but its not like its a major movie ,this one is up for screenplay mostly?
  11. so true ! these people assistants are slacking , we're in december already ...get cracking ! some of us don't live in big cities or near art houses that cater in the limited release business

  13. nah let him work for it! he was not very nice trying to make barry allen look bad in her presence over his reason for being in star city is anyone anxious for that lab to blow up already ? every episode it keeps getting mentioned lol , one reason i'm glad barry has finally appeared because that means its imminent
  14. finally something to be jolly about this holiday season , way to ring in the new year !
  15. grr they can't possibly truly think gravity is the best movie out there , i havent thought about that movie since i saw it but happy for HER because joaquin phoenix is in it

  20. chris hemsworth is swoonworthy HOT him in RUSH was wow quite the rush ! dreamy! he really understood his character sigh my fav in best man holiday was morris chestnut the guy is just fine fine fine for a more sensible review of both films i will be headed eventually over at RTM
  21. off to cinema to watch rush and best man holiday ciaooo
  22. i finished watching it 30mn ago and couldnt find the thread so went on imdb for a bit , thanks telemachos by the way for link * i actually enjoyed the movie go figure , its not the greatest film ever made or even just a good one but i enjoyed it and was taken in by it for duration i wasnt distracted or bored enough to be distracted by outside elements i was in my movie and that's always a good thing in my book it also help that i tried watching RIPD just before and quit 40 mn in because it was that bad percy is a great film compare to that and at least here i care enough about percy and feel there is a group camaraderie going on however corny some set pieces and scenes are i love nathan fillion , and that's main reason i wanted to see this film even if on dvd and he has a great scene and too bad he's not involved , one thing i think film could have benefited from was at least appearance of one god poseidon i laughed at dyonisos being at the end of Zeus grudge that wine thing must be horrible for the mythological demi-god of wines and partying or whatever he is (my greek myth is more than rusty, i remember the days of zena and hercules when i knew so much) i figure most kids found this pretty entertaining i give it a B- ps: not a fan of annabeth and percy as a maybe couple? i find he has more chemistry with clarisse
