  1. SAG get this done, its not all about you, the longer you delay the more everyone suffers. You are never gonna get revenue sharing.
  2. sag better take this, they are destroying the whole industry, crews been out of work months losing houses, etc
  3. never gonna end, the majority will never recover from this strike
  4. sag leadership wants to push strike beyond 2023 , what are they fighting for, they will make most US productions so unappealing that any low level sag will not benefit from any gains
  5. i think if the union could get revenue share for principal cast , then the union takes a percentage of that and spreads it out to lesser cast, no way is every actor on a episode getting this deal
  6. SAG is out of their mind asking for streaming revenue, i think the actors that deserve it are top tier actors, but they already make too much money
  7. Thursday previews are disaster , should have been treated as limited early access screenings , of course it doesn't matter in the end

  11. UPDATED: The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers sent the Writers Guild of America its best and final offer on Saturday afternoon after four days of intense negotiations to secure a new three-year contract and bring the nearly five-month writers strike to an end. Industry sources report that a last, best and final offer was sent to WGA negotiators around 5 p.m. PT. Legal representatives for labor and management huddled Saturday in person at AMPTP headquarters in Sherman Oaks. Other key players on both sides monitored events closely but from afar. https://variety.com/2023/biz/news/writers-strike-wga-amptp-contract-talks-2-1235733340/
  12. i'm expecting a deal by midweek, neither side seems to want to leave negotiations
  13. 2nd UPDATE 8:55 PM: The writers strike is not over yet Despite putting in a very long second day of direct talks, top CEOs, the AMPTP and the WGA did not close a deal tonight.
