They should have move it up to this year. We need one extreme historical BO achievement for the other end now that AS has already occupied one end of the spectrum.
I don't even care whether AS is deserving of its gross (which is something no one will agree with others on anyway) at this point, I think its stunning BO performance exceeds the subject of its quality.
So I'll be right here keep getting amazed instead.
This is rather unpopular, but I think watching The Avengers is like watching comic books come to life on the big screen. That is rather refreshing and different, something that you don't get out of say... Nolan Bat series.
1. Avengers: Age of Ultron
2. Inside Out
3. Star Wars: The Force Awakens
4. The Hateful Eight
5. Crimson Peak
6. A Most Violent Year
7. St. James Place
8. In the Hearts of the Sea
9. The Good Dinosaur
10. Mission Impossible 5
Tight direction, wonderful lead performance, simple yet powerful movie.
I love it, easily the best biopic from the 2014 bunch.
Looking forward to DuVernay's future movies (you can say it's PC or whatever, but she deserved that BD nods over both Miller and whatshisname that directed TIG)
Well, I hope she'll have a long and successful career ahead.

I found both Theory of Everything and The Imitation Game a bore to sit through.
And yeah, Selma is the best out of the biopic bunch coming out this year.
