A Better Tomorrow just slightly beating out The Killer for me, but otherwise, no arguments there. He also gave us one of the best Cage movies ever, maybe even second best right after Con Air (and that was largely because the glorious Cage mane is just too tough to beat) John Woo, a man of instant classics.

Denial is the first step to recovery. It's ok. It's gonna be all right. In all seriousness, I haven't watched Life, and have no intention too. Trailers make it look incredibly dull, so I can see why you would not like it. CJohn not liking Power Rangers though? That's seems weird, on paper, this one is like a movie right up his alley I thought.

So John Woo to be next Fast director? With addition of Chow Yun Fat to the familia? Hard Boiled man, still one of the best action movies to ever grace this earth.

I didn't know Tele like this movie. Either I have to re-evaluate my life choices. Or he has some kind of identity crisis. Gotta be the latter for the sake of my sanity.

This movie managed some quite impressive feats. Parts that were frame-for-frame remade of scenes from the original managed to be listless and devoid of charms. While parts that were new seem to be added in with the sole purpose of reaching a runtime quota. Quite unfortunate that one of the best Disney classic animations has the worst live adaptation among the bunch done in recent years. It offered little of the magical charms that were effortlessly abundant in Cinderella. If that was asking for too much, then maybe just be trashy fun like Maleficent would already be enough really, but nope, this version of BATB didn't fare much better on that front either.

This one was fun. More enjoyable than BATB to be honest. Shame it didn't do well enough to warran a sequel, I enjoyed the young cast.

If that's what people refer to when they deem things as dark, and it's what they actually want to see too, then well... we might have problems on a whole different aspect. I just judged the humor I've seen so far from JL base on trailers. I guess things remained to be seen. I just hope it's enjoyable/entertaining. That I think is like the most basic thing to ask for in SH movies.

That surely would help a lot with the hotness level on the men side. Cause with no more Brian and Han, that aspect was real dire. Vin is well, meh. The Rock (I still love his charm but) looking more and more like an egg head with way too much of unnecessary muscles. Statham looking too bald (sorry, Pink, sore spot). I found my superficial motivation to watch these movies real lacking, sadly.

This one lost me. I just found it boring. Maybe I wasn't in the best of mood when I watched it. But I found no good reasons to go back for a rewatch anyway. Maybe once home video hits.

Y'all who using words like "too dark" to describe DC movies are talking in literal sense, right? Like no sunlight, blue sky ever seen, and shit like that? Cause otherwise, I'm at a loss at what else that are "dark" about those movies. It's exactly the same things I've seen presented and dealt with in other SH movies. JL's humor seem fine to me. The same type that I've seen in other CBMs, be it Avengers or X-Men. That is a good (and much needed) approach cause once you have team-up movies with a bunch of big egos and larger than life superheroes, being all serious and posey just make your movies look silly and out of depth.

We are like double the Shay at this point. But this one is too tempting. So sure.

I didn't give a damn whether Affleck dude wins (it was kinda worth it to see Brie once again being so done with the handing awards shit to him though. My girl ) But that acceptance speech of him was terrible, it's like a rubbing it in the face to Denzel, no wonder he looked mad lol.
