Box Office.com's A-Z of Favourite Movies (VOTING CLOSED)

IMDB seems like the only place to have it as just New Nightmare. Rotten Tomatoes, Wikipedia, Amazon etc. all have it as Wes Craven's New Nightmare, and I have to say that's the title that I know it as.

You've got a point. I'll let it count as a W then.

I think it should be up to the individual. It's hardly going to be picked much.

Actually Walt Disney already has it nder N hence why I asked.

I knew about the IMBD rule and agreed with it, but in this 1 instance I believe IMDB has mis-titled the film (it say;'s Wes Craven's: on the DVD they they use as the picture for the film even! :)

I'm happy to cede to Rukaio's rule, but I wanted to check first and then I'll change it later.

The reason why it's called New Nightmare on IMDB is because that's the title of the movie. They called it Wes Craven's A New Nightmare in the movie theater and DVD to show that Craven was going to be the director of the film. But, it's not the title. This is similar to how Halloween is called John Carpenter's Halloween in the movie theater and on DVD.

The Wes Craven part isn't part of the title. It just shows who the director is.

I'm not arguing with the ruling or anything like that. I just wanted to explain why IMDB is right.

Oh I don't want to argue either. Although it does work better for me taking up a w and not an n

I will try to finish my list today. I've extended my voting for animations and for this one, unless you want to extend it im fine with it. I just don't want our results to clash so both can get better publicity. I don't mind moving mine a week forward if you want to move yours back

You may be better off moving yours a week forward since I've got several tiebreakers I'm going to need to sort out.

Well, it's currently 11PM here in the UK and I have Coursework I really should be working on right now.

So the results will probably be up some time tomorrow.
