Best Vegas movie everFantastic actiing all over9/10

This is probably my favorite Scorcese film that I've seen. I think this is better than Goodfellas (which I found to be a tad overrated). All the acting is fantastic, and Scorcese's musical selections are perfect, as always. The scene with "House of the Rising Sun" playing was absolutely incredible because of that song.A

Mostly excellent with accolade-worthy performances from Robert DeNiro, Joe Pesci, and Sharon Stone (who scored an Oscar nomination for her work here), but it runs a bit too long at just a hair under three hours.

Casino definitely is a movie that sucks you in. Its three hours long and it doesnt feel bloated or stretched. The cinematography terrific as you'd expect from Robert Richardson, the soundtrack is among the best I've heard, and Robert Deniro carries the movie with an Oscar worthy performance. My biggest issue is with Sharon Stone. Yes she's good in Casino, but she plays such an insufferable ---- in it that she made me really not enjoy watching the movie at times. Its an immature complaint, I knowAlso what they did to Joe Pesci in the end? Jesus christ, manOverall it was still definitely worth watching4/5

It's very 'eeh', can't shake the feeling I have seen this a million times before. Also, narration bugged the hell out of me (I'm very much against extensive use of narration) and I kinda hate when the movie's first scene is the ending.

 

Scorsese hasn't done it for me yet.
