Australian films making budget is great here, most of that will go to the production company and once you add in dvd's it'll small but decent profits..

One need only look at a recent attempt at a "big budget" action film - Tomorrow When The War Began.Sure it made close to $14m (which is the equivalent of $140m in US), but when it's budget was $27m, Flopsville was where it was heading from the start.

Which is rather sad, as that was a really good Australian film. A 'big budget' film which was actually made to be australian, and not made for overseas audiences. Sadly due to our size, that doesn't really work.

With holidays starting, Madagascar is definitely on track for 20-25m, which would be amazing!!I've noticed that since I stopped working at the cinema, I've stopped tracking BO as often.

The BOM link says 13-16th which is the weekend chart.The table lab posted above is 13-19th which is the full weeks chart.

That table is not correct anyway. Adding up the weekly totals for TE2 gives a different number than the one on that table for both weeks 2 and 3.
