If you are interested in boxoffice datas I know many other interesting sources, so you will not need to write casual posts.

So do you use a GERMAN site for ITALIAN box office? Well done. ahahah do you want to tell me where to find box office datas? That's funny.

InsideKino numbers are right but they are weekly numbers (and not OW numbers) Do you know the difference?

here's the proof:

http://movieplayer.it/film/boxoffice/italia/2010/?settimana=2010-01-17&mese=gennaio AVATAR:

  • Incasso weekend: 9,651,703 € ( 848 sale )
  • Incasso totale: 9,651,703 €
  • Media per sala: 11382 €

http://movieplayer.it/film/boxoffice/italia/2010/?settimana=2010-03-07&mese=marzo ALICE IN WONDERLAND:

  • Incasso weekend: 8,155,336 € ( 668 sale ) This is the WE
  • Incasso totale: 10,511,525 €
  • Media per sala: 12209 €

http://movieplayer.it/film/boxoffice/italia/2009/?settimana=2009-08-30&mese=agosto ICE AGE 3

  • Incasso weekend: 6,839,643 € ( 806 sale )
  • Incasso totale: 6,839,643 €
  • Media per sala: 8486 €

don't worry that I know the Italian Market.

I can find other thousend of box office sites that report exactly these numbers for the OW and not yours.

Could someone post, or post a link to a previous post with, the top opening weekends of all time in Italy?

Best OWs FRI-SUN

€16.400.000 - SOLE A CATINELLE (2013)     (€18.600.000 - 4 days long weekend) *

€12.000.000 - CHE BELLA GIORNATA (2011)   (€18.650.000 - 6 days long weekend) **

€10.140.420 - BENVENUTI AL NORD (2012)    (€12.000.000 - 5 days long weekend) ***

€ 9.940.514 - AVATAR (2010)

€ 8.400.000 - ALICE IN WONDERLAND (2010)  (€10.500.000 - 5 days long weekend) ***

€ 8.164.000 - THE DA VINCI CODE (2006)

* Opened on Thursday

** Opened on Tuesday

*** Opened on Wednesday

You have to consider the fact that films open on Thursday here since 2012.

The Best OD record belongs to DH2, with €3.2M on a Wednesday. It's going to be smashed in less than two weeks, when Quo Vado? opens in 1500 screens. I expect at least €4.5M.

The Best Single Day belongs to Sole a Catinelle, with €5.6M on a Friday.

  5. Breaking Dawn – Parte 2 10.45 mln
  6. POTC 2 9.58
  7. New Moon 9.57
  8. Harry Potter 6 9.26
  9. Breaking Dawn Parte 1 8.99
  10. Iron Man 3 8.58 mln

  17. Fast and Furious 6 7.33 mln
  18. Pirati dei Caraibi 4    7.14
  19. Pirati dei Caraibi 3     6.98
  20. Madagascar 3 6.58
  21. Inside Out 6,29
  22. Skyfall 6.15 mln
  23. TDKR     6.11
  24. Immaturi 2 6.03

* The Hobbit BOTFA 4,59

t's possible for it to beat Inside Out (given the December release) but we have to wait: on 1st January one of the biggest local film of All time is released (the same actor of Che bella giornata and Sole a catinelle) and so it needs to capitalize before the end of the year.

However, giving it the TH3 ratio after First 5 days debut, it would have 24,8 M. We'll have to see how much it has been frontloaded by fans.
