How does it compare to Minions and other animated flicks?

I've a chart with top animated opening (I will share it when on Wed - when I'll have my pc back).

Sunday is even bigger than Saturday! 6,3 M € in 5 days are Beyond any optimistic projection.

Even if you use only Fri-sun We (how it used to be till Oct 2012), it is For sure the best Pixar opening and one of the best of all time.

MINIONS finally reached 20m in Italy.

Total gross as of yesterday is:

€ 20.140.128

 

This makes it probably the highest film in their box office in maybe 2-3 years.

 

 

The biggest US film since Madagascar 3 in 2012. 

 

 

Cinema in Italy is like a terminally ill

Awesome start for Inside Out: $7.1m

OMG, the palliative care are working well. We still hope in a miracle.

Wednesday:

IO 729k euros, +28% over last week as was opening day.

likely 2nd weekend will see an increase over OW.

Unlikely.

Today new movies open and the internal multiplier of the We is usually smaller in the 2nd (above all For family movies).

BTW a small drop is achievable

Inside Out is doing very well here... Yesterday 1.851.509 Euro! I didn't except it at all, seriously! Now I hope it will surpass the Minions >.< 

I did a little comparison between IO and the other Pixar movies in Italy. I guess, it could reach Finding Nemo!
