Oh if you were talking about OW, then yes.

Today is the day, that's the saga in Italy:

Star Wars - 9.8M admissions

Empire Strikes Back - 4.7M adm

Return of the Jedi - 3.08M adm

Phantom Menace - 2.4M adm

Attack of the Clones - 1.5M adm

Revenge of the Sith - 1.48M adm

It literally collapsed, so this one it's an unknown. No way is going to surpass italian best OW (€18M / $25M).

Some updates about SW in some of the big cities:

The biggest multiplex in Rome (Parco de Medici) is projecting the movie 22 times today starting from 2pm. It's almost full in every show.

Again in Rome, Cinema Barberini is projecting the film in english, and every show it's almost full for today.

This is a 8pm show in one of the most important multiplex in Milan, Cinema Arcadia: http://i63.tinypic.com/b4vmhc.jpg That's the 11pm show: http://i66.tinypic.com/1z2f1pf.jpg

The Space Maxicinema (one of the biggest in Europe), which is in Naples, is projecting the film 10 times starting by now, and there are a few of empty seats.

This number is absolutely not exciting, at least seing the hipe. 1,5/2M single days are common for example among animated movies. I expect a 3M+ Sat to say WOW.

Well we are talking about a Wednesday, not a Friday.

In fact i wait for Saturday numbers. Also Sunday could be interesting: we will see if the movie is able to get interest into the youngest part of moviegoers. However it seems that the OW is going to be nothing of sensational also in other countries out of Usa, UK and Australia (and maybe Japan, if the competition whit a strong local animated don't affect it too much)
