The best sci-fi action film of all time, and one of the most rewatchable films, period. Iconic, bold, innovative, this film is just perfect, and the action scenes are clear, coherant, not-bombastic, and still exhilarating. Unfortunately you dont really see that anymore so this film appreciates with every watch.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day is exactly what sequels should be. Brilliantly building upon and expanding the scope of the original movie, Cameron ups the ante in action remarkably. The third act is an all-time great, never losing steam in spite of its length. Schwarzenegger and Hamilton reprise their roles with renewed vigor, and Robert Patrick plays one of sci-fi's greatest villains with a delightfully creepy aloofness. The script has more on its mind than most action movies like it, and although it gets heavy-handed at points, it's never annoying and always serves to build the characters well. The 3D conversion is serviceable, but it's really just nice to see a classic like this on the big screen. Terminator 2: Judgment Day is one of the greatest sequels ever made, and is guaranteed to make your adrenaline rush no matter how many times you see it. An action masterpiece. A
