Watched it for the first time I few days ago, and it's great. Even Peck was tolerable here.

Too bad no one talks about it anymore, I would have never hear about this film if it wasn't for my blind buy obsession. 85/100

 

and we finally agree on something Tele.  :D

Watched it during one of its many reruns in the 70s as a kid. Fantastic for a movie made in 1961. Gregory Peck, David Niven and Anthony Quinn are superb. One of my all-time favorite movies.

 

This along with movies like The Great Escape, Mckenna's Gold, Where Eagles Dare defined my childhood moviegoing habits. Have watched it tens of times since the 70s.
