Looking at some basic mistakes I've made I've blown at least 150 thousand points for the overall game.

And this is why this question freaked me out back when it first came out.  Is having a single SotM that can result in people being up or down 200k points a good idea? Scoring it was *fun* but I'm still not sure if it was a good idea or not.

Yeah, in retrospect, it's a massively over-powered SOTM.

This is going to give Exxdee a pretty good gap between whoever's #2 but anything can change in a month.

Based on what corrections Wrath and I have made for SOTM 6 so far (definitely not final  ) , this is where the standings would be (anything neither of us have definitely figured out I'll use my calculations):

Not as extremely bad for me as I thought it would be. I'm still within 50k from 5th place. Thats gonna be my goal now. Also, which one was SOTM 8?

Just to put some veteran and new players' minds at rest. Summer will not be as insane with the SOTM's etc. (still a little bit but not as much).

 

Winter is the time to be a little bit more experimental and see what sticks.

 

And although I'll likely get to the scoring in about 24-36 hours, I will say that I made a point of being strict with choosing specific Oscar categories, so yeah the screenplay thing should be marked as wrong.

 

(I will probably do this Oscar question again next year, but will find a way to tone down the points quite a bit.  )
