Jokes aside, it has shaken a couple of things up, wrath is now 42k clear of the pack and the top 6 is separated by just over 100k.

 

In other news, the romantic conclusion is still on as chasmmi is now a mere 177k off the pace!!!

 

In Damien vs Telemacho news, Damien is now 264k clear...

But, Ah, I have one great thing to boast on! 

I gave some really good predictions for the movie I was most excited for before the game started - The Revenant, with 390m WW (381m actual) and 163m DOM (165m actual)

Ok, this is the final score I am going to add publicly for you, after this it will be a straight reveal of the final standings. (Then Jajang can release the rest of his glorious tables onto the unsuspecting public as he sees fit).

(Please note that I am editing a table that I did not make and so Telemachos is still shown in 12th place when he should be 17th, but it is far too much editing required to move him down that many places. Nobody else fell more than 2 places I believe).

And that really keeps things interesting doesn't it. 70k separating our leader wrath from grey ghost in 6th.

 

Also chasmmi is now only 125k off the lead!!! The dream is happening!!!

 

and in the tense Damien vs tele battle... the gap is now a mere 386k

So without further ado, lets start reeling off some final totals. 27 players posted preseason scores (A member BastienGoet attempted one round of weekly questions only so of course finished 28th, but hopefully they may join us this summer  )

27th Place: Baumer (Down 1 place from the last table)

366,000 points

 

Although worthy of 2 million bonus points for creating the game, Baumer is one of 3 players never to play a weekly questions and thus needed a miraculous pre-season to factor. Sadly this did not materialise and thus a 27th place finish was the result.

 

Hopefully summer will see a revitalised Baumer set his sites on the crown he melded with his own bare hands.

26th Place: Mikekaye (Down 4 places from the last table)

428,000 points

 

In this game there are times when you get the choice to go big or go home. Mike went big on numerous questions and the big risk sadly brought forth some major losses. A score of -315,000 points in SOTM killed off any hopes of a winter challenge from Mike. This mixed with a weak top 15 and co means a new player for the winter will need to wait until summer to shine.

25th Place: Bcf (Down 5 places from the last table)

909,000 points

 

Another player hurt by their preseason predictions. To challenge in this game you need to nail those top 15s and top 10s. Missing out on a 7 figure total for your preseasons is a death knell for any true challenge. Respectable results in SOTMs and weekly questions show there is a platform upon which to build, but that top 15 and co hurt bad here.

24th Place: The Panda (Down 3 places from the last table)

930,000 points

 

The second player to rely solely on their preseason predictions and the evidence shows that a consistent presence during the season could have led to a challenge for the upper echelons. Breaking 1 million for his preseasons is a good showing and indicative of a potential top 10 finish if combined with a strong weekly game.

23rd Place: Laguy (Up 4 places from the last table)

1,009,000 points

 

The first player to end the game with 7 figures and the final player to rely on a pure preseason game. Like Panda, the foundation is here for a good weekly campaign and veterans of the game will know that La has the skills to challenge at the very top. Hopefully we will see him bring it in summer time.

 

On a side note, it was awesome to see you still do the top 15 running tallies. It is one of the best parts of summer and winter and really adds to the game all round. Thank you.

22nd Place: Kalo (Up 1 place from the last table)

1,050,000 points

 

Another good 7 figure preseason total and some healthy weekly points were hurt a lot by losses incurred at the SOTMs. Kalo showed some sparks of form during the season, but in the end needed a stellar top 15 and sadly fell a little short.  Hopefully summer will bring brighter times...

21st Place: Blankments (Down 4 places from the last table)

1,164,000 points

 

Blankments is no stranger to coming out of nowhere and win big through his preseasons. Sadly, this winter was not to be one of those occasions as good weekly scores were undone by a weaker top 15 that put paid to a big challenge for the top. However, the summer is only 2 months away...

20th Place: Avi (Down 2 places from the last table)

1,176,000 points

 

Avi brings a lot of passion to the table when playing the summer and winter games. Like Mike before, he is prepared to go all in on risky questions in the search of big rewards and although he fared better than the aforementioned Mike, minus 94,000 points is a painful total to swallow when challenging for the title. Add to this a weaker than required pre-season and the chinks the armour are there for all to see. Will Summer 2016 be the time for avi to rise?

19th Place: Filmovie (No change from the last table)

1,241,000 points

 

A former summer champion, the sceptre of a fully active filmovie hanging over the winter game, is an image that will strike fear into many a player. HE has shown in the past that he has the game to go all the way and has nailed the preseasons in the past too.

 

This winter though was a misstep in an impressive career. The SOTMs hurt Filmovies challenge badly and the top 15 just wasn't strong enough to bridge the gap. Do not underestimate this player come summertime though.

18th Place: Alfred (Up 6 places from the last table)

1,267,000 points

 

One of the quiet weekly presences that show how what a good preseason can do for you in this game. Running 18th after a mostly inactive preseason, Alfred's 1,350,000 preseason tally is the highest of any player mentioned so far by over 200,000 points. A top 6 finish in the top 15 table was a big factor in this score and shows that a game is not won with weekly scores alone.

 

Even a pretty SOTM and weekly performance would have seen Alfred shoot into the top 8 and thus this is a player that should not be underestimated if we see him come summertime.

17th Place: Glassfairy (Down 6 places from the last table)

1,393,000 points

 

A 5th place showing in SOTM's was a high point in glassfairy's campaign as another player is brought down by their preseasons. With weekly scores also very very solid, it would have maybe only taken 1 or 2 more correct films in their top 15 for glassfairy to transform from an also-ran to a contender.

16th Place: 99 trees (Up 9 places from the last table)

1,500,000 points

 

By far the biggest mover so far, trees made one hell of a showing in their top 15, the best of any player. A couple of the other lists may not have quite scaled the same heights but respect must be given where it is due. Tree finished their top 15 almost 100k clear of any other player and showed that they could soar when most others were destroyed by Hateful Eights and Hearts of the Sea.

 

A consistent weekly presence would have almost guaranteed Trees a top 6 finish at worst and the win would even have not been out of the question. A dangerous quantity for summer perhaps...
