Blankments
Any chance we get Iron Giant numbers like we do for Doctor Who or Dragon Ball Z? Fall 2015 releases should have has these dates July 3rd - The Walk wide release August 14th - Pan August 28th - Everest wide release October 9th - Bridge of Spies (doesn't target Martians tent pole demo, 2 weeks before Steve Jobs) Everything else is fine where it is. Some rescheduling could have fixed the overcrowding and helped July/August out Goddamn you're making me change my special file I've been working on just for you... TalismanRing
Terrible for The Walk. A domestic total under A Walk In The Woods?
CoolioD1
zemeckis used to strut around like he was cock of the walk. and now he's cock of nothing.
MovieMan89
Pretty terrible considering Everest's underwhelming run, but much better opening than this. I do think it is Zemeckis' best since Cast Away. However the big scene is something I could see going both ways for WOM. It is exhilarating beyond doubt, but there are simply some people who aren't going to be able to handle it in IMAX 3D or maybe in the theater at all. So in a weird way it could lead to negative WOM. Mojoguy
The Walk's 240K is LESS than what Everest made!
Alpha
I imagine part of The Walk's low number is that the actual spectacle is only in the final act, so I guess moviegoers thought it wasn't worth paying double to see a movie that's basically a drama 3/4 of the way through.
